Three senators announced within hours of each other on Thursday that they had tested positive for the coronavirus, despite each being fully vaccinated.
Sens. Roger Wicker (R-Miss.), Angus King (I-Maine) and John Hickenlooper (D-Colo.) said they had tested positive in what is known as a breakthrough case, when fully vaccinated individuals test positive for COVID-19. It marks three known breakthrough cases among senators within 24 hours.
The positive tests come as senators have been back in their home states for roughly a week and aren't expected to return to Washington, D.C., until mid-September.

The vaccine is at a minimum worthless, and I would like to see the current data where it is proven they suffer fewer consequences than the unvaccinated. That claim does not pass the smell test.

Testing positive is nothing these days , I was wondering why Politicians were not getting sick so they come back with tested positive , LOL
We're at the point that the "breakthrough cases" are when someone who didn't get the experimental treatment gets COVID. Those who got the shots are getting it as though they have NO immunity.
“Extremely rare” breakthrough cases. Well, maybe just rare. Or medium rare? Uncommon? Not particularly common? Yeah...
Treat it like the flu and it will pass.
I have yet to see any specific protocol to treat Covid-19. People are told to treat it like they would the flu.
