The reason joe-blow is good with shouldering the blame is because he has no honor so loses nothing. He’s already known to be a fully compromised party dolt and fallguy whose word is dirt. Paid to be the lightning rod.
It's going to be a lot more difficult to blame President Trump now that Biden doubled-down and declared that he made the decision, it was the right decision, and he would not pass it on to his predecessor.
The only opening for the LAAP-dog media would be that President Trump passed it along to him, but then that would presume that Obama passed it along to Trump.

He pretty much took all the heat for everything on the guise of getting out troops out of a war. He fell back on having learned the “Lessons of Vietnam” and said “the buck stops here.” Said he was willing to take the criticism, but that he really didn’t care.
