A two-day, multi-agency police operation targeting human trafficking in the Valley has led to the arrest of 18 people, according to Mesa Police Department.
Officials say the East Valley Human Trafficking Task Force’s “Buyer Reduction” operation on August 5th and 6th resulted in multiple arrests for prostitution and other sex-related crimes, largely centered around Country Club Drive and the US 60 in Mesa. The operation was set up to combat trafficking and crime in the area.
“Eighteen arrests were made over the two days for adult prostitution unless otherwise noted below. The East Valley Human Trafficking Task Force will continue working diligently to reduce human sex trafficking and crime in the East Valley,” the department said.

Are these the johns or the pimps?
I want the pimps arrested and the girls offered the opportunity to freedom from that life.
And yet the Biden administration’s human trafficking goes unabated.
So when does the peons in Congress get arrested and thrown in jail for trafficking humans?
From the article:
“Eighteen arrests were made over the two days for adult prostitution unless otherwise noted below"
We used to call this crime "prostitution" or "soliciting a prostitute" and in most places, it was a low-level nuisance crime and a misdemeanor.
But we relabeled it "human trafficking" and now people are calling for 20-year prison sentences.
heads up.
who’s behind all these round ups??
heads up.
who’s behind all these round ups??
Johns. Many prostitutes are selling themselves because they are drug addicts.
What a bunch of beauties! 18 .45 acp rounds, 18 problems solved.
They are all, every one of them, the face of the Democratic party.
You'd be surprised when many of these girls want neither freedom from pimps or freedom from the sex industry. They can make a lot of money doing this, even more if they use a pimp.
I don’t think it’s moral, but consensual sex between adults is hardly worth the resources used to bust them, even if money is exchanged. The only concern should be if it was actually consensual or was it trafficking.
Had a muslim work colleague get caught up in one of these.
His wife had died and I guess he got desperate.
Answered an ad in backpage.
Didn’t run when they told him they were underage.
He had been in the US 20 years with no trouble.
Had long since become a citizen.
He said in his home country, there wouldn’t have even been a trial. They would have strung him up.
Still waiting to see info following a headline like this:
"Among those arrested were John and Tony Podesta, who were gathered up in separate pre-dawn raids at their homes."
These dudes are thugs and criminals..
Get rid of them......
A fine looking group of Amish boys
They have moved people around and across state lines. Human trafficking fir sec purposes does involve prostitution. It also involves much more. It deserves a life sentence
They will be fine. (The girls were cops.)
This is a run-of-the-mill prostitution sting.
Calling it sex trafficing enables more government grants.
I’m sure a lot of people don’t agree with me. But, if that’s how a woman wants to earn a living, it’s not my place to stop her. My problem lies with (as most) with forced prostitution/trafficking and minors.
I’m sure that most prostitutes ended up in that lifestyle due to significant trauma of some sort. That’s why it would be good to offer them the opportunity to a different path if they want it. Sure, there are high end escorts that earn a ton of $ and are not being forced. I’m not referring to them as much as they have $ resources to move on if they chose.
I agree. That’s one difference between prostitution and trafficking.
At the bottom of the photo , 3 were arrested regarding a minor under 15. That’s significant and deserves attention.
