A suspected drunk driver asked New Mexico police if she could “smoke a cigarette” just moments after she allegedly caused a crash that killed a mother of four, bodycam video shows.
Jennifer Munoz, 26, is accused of crashing into and killing 41-year-old Janelle Katesigwa in Albuquerque in May, KRQE reports.
According to bodycam video released Wednesday, the first thing Munoz said to police after the fatal crash was: “Can I just smoke a cigarette?”
Munoz’s friend could be heard screaming in pain in the passenger seat.
“I would not do that right now … Let them try to help your friend,” a police officer told Munoz.

Well, technically she pulled out in front of a large truck on a clear day, onto a straight roadway with no visibility issues.
And I've always wondered if she did it deliberately because she couldn't take Joe's bull$hit any more. Joe himself, in a text message to Hunter, blamed his son's addiction on himself and his first wife.

How about the steel company who supplied the steel to make the tractor.
It can get even more ridiculous by going after the miner who mined the iron ore from which the farming equipment was made.
After reading the headline, I thought that was his punishment.
I presume that the driver requested a cigarette rather than was asked by her captors to smoke a cigarette ... but in today's America it could be either ... or both! (I'm ready for my single malt now!!!)
I think she was possibly extremely distraught from thinking Joe sexually molested atleast one of the children and just wanted to end it all.
He’ll, even back than the Bidens would has buried her if she went to the police.
