Well, it was only a matter of time before an -ish series went there. “There” being a Black Lives Matter storyline on Freeform’s grown-ish (a spinoff of the racist ABC show black-ish) depicting cops as racist predators in a system that is “determined to destroy” innocent black people who have “targets on (their) backs.” There was also some racism towards white people thrown in, just for fun, as one character states, “white people are inherently bad.” And even a serious line about how hurricanes “statistically target black neighborhoods.” Yes, really.
Wednesday’s episode, “A Boy Is a Gun” opens with Doug (Diggy Simmons) out for a jog in Los Angeles and purchasing a sports drink at a convenience store, only for this to be juxtaposed with another young, black man in Virginia coming out of a store who is confronted by police with guns drawn and ends up being shot despite having his hands in the air and cooperating fully with police, a tragic situation that doesn’t resemble any cases that Black Lives Matter has championed in real life whatsoever:

Years ago, I worked with another conservative - at least he said he was. We more or less agreed on a lot of things but one disagreement were television programs. His belief was that shows were determined by ratings. My argument was ratings be damned, the networks were going to push an agenda until the very last moment. I think the program we were talking about was Will and Grace, and how Hollywood was pushing the gay agenda. Now, pushing an agenda has permeated throughout all our media - news, entertainment, social, music, etc.
It's about a black family moving to the South in the 1950s. All white people are either racists or members of an evil Cthulhu cult. Or both.
Still waiting for “White-ish,” a show about a MAGA family who live in a trailer in flyover country, yet are portrayed as intelligent, worthy human beings.

It is but the pushback is coming to significant $$. That is why the female Dr. Who is no more, there was not a second Captain Marvel nor Wakanda movie (before the actor died), no more “A Star Wars Story” movies and a LOT of talk about having SW 7 - 9 be removed from canon. The SW Ep IV merch ALONE out-performs eps VII - IX by a factor of 10 or 20.
But it is Sisyphean - the kathy kenndys are out there and still gaining power. The entertainment industry is carefully studying how Disney destroyed the multi billion Star Wars and MCU - small returns compared to what they could have gotten. They want to be woke but are trying to avoid the broke.

The number of black on black murders this year? Not important to BLM or race baiters like Sharpton and Bush and all the other “civil rights pundits” who seem to be encouraging the blacks to rise up and take over America. Hey 12% of the population. Good luck with that.

Where race of the offender is white and race of victim is black, the number is 266. The white-on-black murder number is 566. Over twice as much, even though there are about 1/5th as many blacks as whites to run around murdering others. Evidently, if white-on-black murders are "systemic racism", then black-on-white murders is of Hitleresque style racism.
And yet, check out the black-on-black (2,574) and white-on-white (2,594). So really, both races have the same problem of being murdered more by our own race than by the other. That means even if whites like me tell blacks "yall are killin' us more than we kill yall", we're being technically true but missing even bigger dangers to our families (blacks are killed by blacks more than anybody else, whites are killed by whites more than anybody else).
Further, even if you add up all racial murders (assuming "other" killing "other" is same race), that totals 988 per year. Out of a total of 330,000,000 or so million people in our country. That's 0.003%. So even if you care about all racial murders, not just white-on-black, we obviously have a lot more to worry about.
Remember that the next time you hear the word "systemic" in the context of racial murders. Racial murders about as systemic as Georgia national championships. LOL

9 unarmed black,people were killed by cops for the whole year of 2019. All but 2 were killed justifiably, and in those 2 cases, the cops were tried and convicted. The 7 that were shot justifiably were trying to get the guns away fro the officers, or trying to get their car to use as a weapon or some other type of weapon to use against the cops they were fighting.
54 innocent cops lost their lives that year. Only 2 unarmed black people who were possibly innocent, lost their lives that year

Boston was the last major city to desegregate their public schools. They even had riots over busing. This took place in 1974.
