On Thursday’s broadcast of CNN’s “Situation Room,” CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky stated that with the Delta variant, coronavirus vaccines cannot prevent transmission anymore, and urged people to get vaccinated “to protect you from transmission to others, as well as to protect all of us from seeing a more aggressive emerging variant.”
Walensky said, “Our vaccines are working exceptionally well. They continue to work well for Delta with regard to severe illness and death, they prevent it. But what they can’t do anymore is prevent transmission. So, if you’re going home to somebody who has not been vaccinated, to somebody who can’t get vaccinated, somebody who might be immunosuppressed or a little bit frail, somebody who has comorbidities that put them at high risk, I would suggest you wear a mask in public, indoor settings.”

So, if two vaccinated people are in a room, can person A transmit the virus to person B?
Yes.
Can person B transmit the virus to person A?
Yes.

Am I reading this right?
Can’t prevent transmission but protect me from giving it to others.
If it protects someone from giving it to someone else, how does it transmit to someone else?
And, if I do get it, I can’t transmit it to someone else, but I will just deal with it, as I or anyone else had to do before?
One really has to wonder how these, supposedly, educated people got the degrees that they did.

It is critical to understand that a rapid decline in viral infectivity rates that is not achieved by natural infection but merely results from expedited mass vaccination campaigns will only delay abrupt propagation of emerging, fully VACCINE-RESISTANT VIRALvariants and hence, only delay the occurrence of a high wave of morbidity and mortality.

The world has become insane, or mad, to quote Victor Davis Hanson.
That, and local paper reporting Kaiser Health is mandating experimental 'jabs' in order to work there. Without supporting autopsies to prove their safety to the medical workforce.
That makes zero sense.
It is time for the government to put its influence and money behind common sense treatment plans that are now known to be more effective than vaccines against this pathogen. The propaganda and nonsense is becoming crazy to a degree that is totally insane.
Another day, another policy, another hypothesis that is destined to be shown to be ineffective. The CDC affirmative action hiring for the past twenty years is coming to fruition.

Who’s to say the variants are natural mutations? Could they have been intentionally released? We do not know.
The only thing we know for sure is this time next year there will be a super scary variant, so terrible it will be too dangerous to vote by anything other than mail.

Only a fitted N95 mask would have any hope of helping. It would help for a short amount of time measured in minutes and hours not days.

Back in my college days (decades ago) we had a class on Logic—with symbols for everything.
We would take sentences like the CDC stuff here and draw diagrams with variables and then parse them.
