On New Year’s Day of this year, Rochelle Walensky was just a college professor in Massachusetts. You’d almost certainly never heard of her. You definitely didn’t vote for her at any point, because Walensky had never run for office.
As of January first, Walensky’s political power was precisely the same as yours and everyone else’s in this supposedly self-governing republic: she had one vote out of a nation of 320 million people. And then, just a few weeks later, everything changed, for her, and for the rest of us. Joe Biden appointed Walensky to run the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta. At the time, it didn’t seem like a huge deal at the time.
The CDC is not a legislative body. It is a public health bureau. It was originally designed to fight malaria, and it did a good job.
The CDC gathers information about diseases and then releases guidance about those diseases to the country. The CDC does not make laws in this country. It’s not allowed to. Under the U.S. Constitution, making laws is the exclusive role of Congress.
You vote for your senators and congressmen and they decide what the rules are. That’s known as representative democracy. It’s been our system for nearly 250 years. But apparently, it is now over. Rochelle Walensky now makes the laws. Walensky announced today that she has decided to nationalize America’s rental properties, millions and millions of them from Maine to California. Tenants are no longer required to pay their rent.
Property owners cannot evict them under any circumstances. Making someone pay to live on your property is now a federal crime. Try it, and you can wind up in prison, with hundreds of thousands of dollars in fines.

Yep, and Biden openly defied SCOTUS to hand the CDC that power. I guess we have a 4th branch of government now.
Some assembly required.
And there have been no moratoriums or deferments in paying annual “rent” to the government aka “property taxes”—a huge chunk of which go to pay government drones’ salaries, benefits, and pensioons.
“You will own nothing...and you will be happy”.

Rand Paul is one of the few actual Americans left in DC.
puck the fuppet.
Too many sheeple saw Sloe Xio masked up at his safety circle “rallies” and decided that they craved such illusory “safety” over freedom.
There weren’t enough of them so Puddin’ Pop became Xio Stolen.
If they can tell landlords to give people free rent....
They can force you to house an illegal alien or worse a communist...
They can tell us lots of things - making all of us obey is a different matter.
don’t worry, china inc., i mean, blackrock will rescue those properties that have been so much abused by their current overprivileged owners.
If the CDC has assumed the power to order billiting of civilians in private homes, should not the CDC must reimburse the costs of such billiting, plus repairs, to the property owner ?
The precident is set by military regulations providing for the billiting of troops stateside at hotels and private property.
Let the class action lawsuits fly and put my name first.
We’ll find out if any of those judges have the balls to say this is unconstitutional. Or will they complement Empress CDC on her clothes?
RE: We’ll find out if any of those judges have the balls to say this is unconstitutional.
Justice Brett Kavanaugh acknowledged that what the CDC did was unconstitutional in his previous decision, but allowed it to continue anyway as it was going to expire in July 31.
In effect, he did nothing to stop it, and so, this problem continues.
If she doesn't have the authority to do what she did, then don't just accede authority to her.
Ignore her and go about business as usual before she showed up on the scene. We've become a nation of weak-spined followers who can't think for ourselves.
Tell her to get her own house in order before sticking her nose into other areas where she does not have authority.
States need to step up and declare that State police and sheriffs will enforce contracts in their state.
If the Feds get involved, they will be arrested.
Please tell me this is Babylon Bee.
This CANNOT be real.
3A issue?
No Soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered in any house, without the consent of the Owner, nor in time of war, but in a manner to be prescribed by law
Regards,
Um, so far, there’s a lot of obedience going around.
So, yeah, it’s working for the enemy so far.
But I’m sure that this next aggression will be the straw that breaks the camel’s back, and we’ll see that resistance. Tomorrow. Or the next day. Or the day after that, for sure.
No eviction...fine. Cut off water
and garbage (opps...couldn’t
afford to pay the bill).Charge for parking
your vehicle on a landlords property,
Remove all community mail boxes
and deliver all mail to the
front office. Curfew access to the
complex. (Leave after 9:00 pm...you
don’t get back in). Make things
uncomfortable for the freeloaders.
They ALL signed a contract or rental
agreement. All the management has to
do is post the new “rules”. The
landlord ain’t kickin’ them out,
but if he’s going to loose the place,
make everyone else’s life miserable.
I’ve managed properties before.
It broke my heart evicting young
ladies with babies. But the majority
of today’s renters do not share the
same ethics of old.
The governments created this mess.
There should be protections in
place for BOTH the landlord and the
renter.
