“home confident”????
No one even proofreads most of what is put out as “news” anymore.
I am guessing that these people are out thousands of dollars for an attorney, and had to plead guilty to some trespassing or something, after entering the Capitol through some doors held open for them by Capitol LEO. Once inside, they snapped a couple pictures, while staying inside the ropes for “crowd control”.
The ones that don't show up soon are the ones that still spit in their faces.
We WILL learn the truth, but it may take some time.
Read the article. They pled guilty to a misdemeanor charge of protesting or demonstrating on capitol grounds. From other articles, they were originally arrested in March and allowed to go home until they pled guilty in June.
The REAL charge, IMHO, was protesting or demonstrating on capitol grounds while Republican. Democrats protest all the time and receive accolades from the media.
And go to your room!
Yep, these guys are from the bunch of useful idiots who let the FBI plants lead them around by the nose. Sorry, they weren’t worldly enough to know a setup getting out of hand when most people wanted a loud, peaceful protest.
Hey, that’s a pretty light sentence for trying to overthrow the government.
The worst insurrection since the Civil war!
Penalty: 30 days of home confinement.
Based on the evidence the FBI presented, the Bustles unlawfully entered the rotunda of the Capitol with a crowd of people on Jan. 6. They appeared to have left without causing any harm or damage to any person or government property.
Hmmm, I don't seem to remember the "believe her" nutcases disrupting the Kavanaugh confirmation be prosecuted. Or the various Code Pink protesters that have disrupted numerous congressional proceedings over the years. Or the BLM protests at the Capitol bldg. Maybe I just missed it.
Sure she's a nut, but a peaceful nut, and that's not illegal.
Joshua Bustle charges: "Entering and Remaining in a Restricted Building or Grounds; Disorderly and Disruptive Conduct in a Restricted Building or Grounds; Disorderly Conduct in a Capitol Building; Parading, Demonstrating, or Picketing in a Capitol Building"

I’m figuring if the FBI can’t torture a guilty confession out of a few, they’ll Epstein them in their prison cells. The one thing the FBI cannot withstand is having to present the evidence they are currently withholding to a defense lawyer as they have to do in a trial.
Actually, come to think of it, the FBI already has a track record of withholding evidence which would exonerate a defendant. They did this years ago where they sent 4 people to jail for life for a murder conspiracy when the FBI knew the men were not guilty. This was in the Boston FBI office in the 70’s. The same corrupt FBI office that helped Whitey Bulger.
WOW, did all the Kavanaugh hearing protesters/demonstrators get the same treatment?
The whole point of these arrests and trials and hearings is so they can keep repeating the narrative about “rioters being stirred up by President Trump’s false claims of a fraudulent election”.
The more people they convict the more times they can repeat their narrative.
The clever part is that they are getting these protesters to agree to the narrative themselves in exchange for a reduced sentence.
In this case, the judge is offering leniency on the basis that the couple was “mislead” by President Trump’s “false claims”.
I wonder what their sentences would have been if they had corrected the judge and said they believed that the election was stolen - not because Trump claimed it - but because any idiot could see that it was stolen.
Be nice if we knew what it says.
I’m going to send this to a friend of mine who was a Russian interpreter in the Navy back in the 1970s. I doubt he remembers enough to give me much though.
That was also Robert Mueller.
The charges against the people just walking through the Capitol are so onerous that if they do not plead guilty to some minor charge then they could spend several years even many years, in jail. Having seeing what our so-called justice system does, I can understand their guilty plea.
You beat me to it. I thought insurrection would be treated more harshly.
Maybe it's because insurrection is named as a human right in the Declaration of Independence!? :)
Do a search for a book called "drawings from the gulag". Someone who was stationed at the gulags recorded what he saw. Not for the squeamish. Plenty of images posted online.

Imagine, being arrested and charged for the crime of entering the building you are one of the landlords of.
