Ask a surgeon why by law they are required to wear those blue surgical masks while in any surgical procedure where open wounds are present go ahead ask one. Hint it’s not for the surgeons well being. There is a reason every person in a surgical procedure must be masked,same for dental procedures ask why.

And the N95s that are not properly fit tested and worn do nothing. Heck Im not sure even one that is fit tested and worn properly does much

1). you can’t use your hand or sleeve to cover your cough or sneeze when scrubbed in a case. 2) see number one - it keeps snot/ gum/ gross contamination out of the surgical field.
Really good N95 and better systems sometimes use an electrical air pump to deliver air through the filters...
Spend several hours straining to draw air in through a
proper mask and it wears your ass out!
My o2 sat goes down to 92 when I wear one of those stupid
paper masks...to much rebreathin’ a goin’ on...
I don’t recall my dentist ever using a mask until AIDS came along.
Masks are:
1) a sign of submission, subversion and subjugation
2) mandated in order to dehumanize
3) virtue signaling devices
4) meant to provide constant reinforcement of fear
5) used to destroy community, friends and family normal communication
6) implemented to create isolation, confusion, anxiety, destroy human connectivity, trust and interactions
7) mandated to exacerbate illness
8) intended to aid in the abandonment of the belief and reliance on our immune systems
9) intended to refute integrous science
10) signal to positions of power that you are willing to give up all of your rights and freedoms based on anything they say, even if it is a BIG FAT LIE!

Surgical masks are for large particle sizes, but not to stop 0.125 micron particles such as Covid.
N95 masks filter 95% of particles larger than 3 microns per standards.
Stopping Covid particles requires SCBA or other supplied air systems.
The N 95 do nothing either.
So Sawbones does not spit (spittle) into the open wound.
And if you have facial hair forget it
