MEGHAN Markle will be "furious" if her estranged father publicly humiliates her by taking her to court for the right to see his grandchildren Archie and Lilibet, a relationship expert has claimed.
...The Duchess' father, 77, is threatening to sue his daughter and son-in-law, whom he has yet to meet, for the right to meet his grandchildren.
Speaking at his home in Rosarito, he told Fox News: “I will be petitioning the California courts for the right to see my grandchildren in the very near future."
Reports have suggested such action could be the “final nail in the coffin” for his relationship with Harry and Meghan.
The prince has never met his father-in-law who pulled out of attending the royal wedding at the last minute due to health issues.
He had caused major embarrassment for his daughter after being caught staging photos with the paparazzi.
Despite apologising on TV multiple times for his mishap, more than three years later Meghan and Harry have yet to forgive Thomas.
The core difference between the two heritages seems to be expressed here.
The Queen, and much of her family, feel a duty to do certain things, and to put up with certain things, even though they may be quite unhappy about it. Their feelings have to come second. There is a higher duty, and they put that first.
Meghan is all about Meghan. What she wants is important. Nothing else, and nobody else really matters. She outranks everyone and has done so forever — long before she met Harry.
The (rotten) apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.
I wonder about her.
I know I don’t keep up with popular culture and TV shows. As such, I was barely aware of who she was before her engagement to Harry. She had a part on a TV show on the USA Network. Had she done any other work of note in the entertainment world?
But now, she is one of the most famous people in the world, because of who she married.
Cynics may wonder, is she the type who wanted great fame and fortune, and perhaps made herself available to Harry, in hopes of marrying him to gain fame for herself?
It's not cynicism if it's reality.
Have we seen the baby girl yet? Why not?
The dark version of Grace Kelly I guess. Throw in the drama of Princess Di and you got more entertainment. It’s what she does. California law is screwey. Perhaps it might get them to leave.
Remember how Meghan told us that there was gossip at the Palace, of what color their children would be?
What we don’t know, is if there really was Palace gossip about that, or if this sort of subject is all in her head.
People say a lot of things about the Mountbatten-Windsor family, and to be fair, it’s deserved. But the Markle family seems to have some dysfunction, as well. God help those two little ones.
She is the one person who would definitely think of what shade her child would be. To say everyone else though of it....well duh...but it wouldn’t be gossip...it would be truth. And so what??
Why would anyone care what this POS thinks?
Sensitive ground? There is -nothing- more evil than refusing to let a grandparent have a little time with a grandparent. Evil bit@h.
Are you also upset that Meghan's parents and brother aren't Muslim?
Markle is a self-absorbed golddigger. She married royalty to move herself up. She is a disgrace and an embarrassment.
She is hurting her children by keeping them away from their grandparents. I suspect she doesn’t care.
Those poor kids.
This success is far more conceivable rather than suing in Kali, which has limited 'grandparent rights' that don't go far in court IF the family is intact -- can't intercede on an intact family -- if your kid is a loser, it's your problem.
Which means Schlubby will have to wait for the inevitable divorce, which I have set the O/U at the 3-year anniversary.
For two people that didn’t want publicity...they sure are relishing every opportunity. But to criticize the Royal Family?? Disgusting.
Bingo! Like everyone else, he would like to see the kiddo. I bet she is not dark but fair and red headed like her brother. Maybe she also has Archie’s vision problems.
