Angelle Mosley couldn’t believe the diagnosis when she learned she had contracted COVID-19.
"She said 'I know I do not have COVID. I still can smell and taste. And I am vaccinated.' But when she got to the hospital, turns out she had it," her mother Tara Mosley told WDSU-TV.
Three days later, the 33-year-old owner of Brave Beautique, a store selling fashions for plus-sized women, had died of the illness.
Mosley was initially diagnosed on Thursday and sent home from the hospital but needed to be readmitted over the weekend.
"Her neighbor brought her at 2 or 3 in the morning. She said, 'They will keep me because I have pneumonia and a high fever,'" Tara Mosley said.
Angelle Mosley died in the hospital Sunday. Her mother says the family would still like to encourage people to vaccinate and wear masks, but also to engage in healthier lifestyles overall.

She sounded pretty sure she believed she was protected. Only problem, the jab doesn’t prevent the acquiring of the disease. Allegedly reduces the symptom severity. But who knows since the cdc changes their screed more often that pedo joe changes his ‘grampers’. Then again, I’m not a doctor so what do I know?
Knew the cause, or co-morbidity, as they say before even clicking the link. Owned a store for plus sized women. To quote the great Dr. Hannible Lechter, “She was a big girl... you know, roomy...”
Then I clicked on the link and saw that successful businesswoman who ran a store for Fat Chicks (Plus sized my a$$).
These supposedly young, healthy victims always have something...
I may be chunky, but I walk 4 miles a day, spend at least an hour at the gym five days a week and have a healthy resting pulse and blood pressure.
This cognitive dissonance is chilling. I have friends who outweigh me by a good 100 lbs and their two best friend are Ben and Jerry lecturing me about how we’re all in this together... and I just bite my tongue.

Yep. As soon as I read the article I thought she was probably obese and maybe diabetic, both of which can turn even a common cold into the flu or pneumonia and result in death. Happened to a friend of mine.

Nice rant. I read through some of your posts and you are an asset to the site, and also seem to have more self-awareness than most.
I spend enough time with 18-21 year olds who have been through the secondary system before I get them, and retreat to FR in hopes of finding FR insightful prose with a dollop of humor which is refreshing—and rarer around here than it used to be.
Even though she got the shots, she may have been too obese for the shots to be administered properly. The shot is suppose to be injected into muscle.
Another one of those cases where the deceased can’t win. The medical mafia claims it is essential that the “vulnerable” get vaxxed. If being fat is vulnerable then she did everything right by getting vaxxed, but now she is getting trashed.
Any excuse by the vaxxers is sufficient to dismiss the vaccine’s potential for death. As the old saying goes, the crime is the lies, and the motive is murder.

Morbid obesity has now been rebranded as “body positivity” and is no longer considered unhealthy, but rather should celebrated as a perfectly acceptable lifestyle choice.
Problem is, Covid ain’t playing by these new rules.
We’ve known from Day One that Covid was particularly devastating on the obese but society chose to bury their head in the sand, loath to cast judgment on personal lifestyle choices. So we continue to report on “healthy young adults” dying of Covid.
