As South Africa erupted into chaos, my thoughts turned to the United States — a great country brought low by the same toxic and demented racial politics that set afire my homeland last week.
The Beautiful Idea holds that all humans are born with identical gifts and should turn out to be clones of one another in a just society. Conversely, any situation in which disparity survives is in itself proof of injustice. This is the line promoted by CRT pundit Ibram X. Kendi, who blames all racial disparities on racist policies.
In addition to paying taxes at Scandinavian levels, South African corporations were required to cede large ownership stakes to black partners, whether or not they brought anything to the table besides black skin and connections in high places
This was an especially bitter experience for young black people, 63 percent of whom are now jobless, too broke even for booze and drugs to dull the pain. Last week, it proved easy for Zuma and his acolytes to tempt them onto the streets with the promise of loot.
And so we come to the moral of this story. It’s a warning about the practical consequences of ideas like those propounded by Kendi and CRT superstar Robin DiAngelo, who in the name of “equity” maintains it is racist to talk of work ethic or to expect all workers to show up on time, regardless of race.
It is exactly these values that have brought South Africa to its knees.

South Africa has all the ingredients for total collapse - a massive and unsustainable welfare state, run by a corrupt one-party, marxist-style system, being stripped by its cronies. Meanwhile, along with entitlement, they spread an ideology of victimhood and hate among the black population. As the economy crumbles, the resentment will grow. No one will be safe.
Yep. Been there, done that. Tried to manage the unmanageable who thought that they didn't have to show up on time. Who refused to show up on time? Use your imagination.
This is the future for the USA. It is all but unavoidable now.
Drug dealers have the tardiness problem licked. One episode of Drugs, Inc. featured a kid who said as long as he showed up on time where he was supposed to and didn’t lie to his bosses, he had a bright future in the organization. Kid had a real understanding of the importance of these success principles.
Seems more like his bosses understand those principles.
It is exactly these values that have brought South Africa to its knees. We created a society where nothing was expected of blacks save “blackness.” Honor and diligence were not demanded of government appointees. Sloth was tolerated. Failures and corruption went unpunished. Blind pursuit of equity began to achieve its opposite: a staggering equality gap among blacks themselves, with a fortunate few benefitting hugely and the masses sinking into abject misery.
This sounds just like our Democrat run S#!*-Hole cities in the US today.
The USA is following the template of South Africa. We are not that far behind them at this stage.
Heard a guy from SA in an interview say it’s like a mini version of globalism. They’re trying to get people to ignore who they are and become simply South Africans. No more cultural traditions from the past. No more self segregating into communities to be with your kind.
It’s as one freeper puts it. Put red and black ants in a jar and they’re fine. Shake the jar to mix them up and they’ll start killing each other.
There’s also a get even, part of forced equality, like blacks being allowed to attack whites and maybe even take their farm land.
Amen
It’s actually happening. Africanization of the City States is the political mechanism being utilized
The difference is that the US is only 13% Negro, despite what our TV commercials might suggest.
👍🏻👍🏻
Ports are closed in South Africa. Expect more disruption is supply chains. A pretty large % of the world Chrome supply comes from there.
