Roets' country has been rocked by riots that followed the recent arrest of former South African President Jacob Zuma, according to the BBC.

Amid rampant looting, more than 200 people have been killed in the violent protests.

South African President Cyril Ramaphosa said the violence was part of a plan, and not spontaneous.

"It is quite clear that all these incidents of unrest and looting were instigated -- there were people who planned it and co-ordinated it," he said, calling the rioting an effort to wreck democracy.

It is a good thing that there are more firearms in the USA than people. An armed society is a polite society.

When rioting happens that threatens people and property or looting following natural disasters, people pull together to protect their neighborhoods and property with firearms. Whether is is people outside New Orleans sitting in folding chairs with shotguns and signs saying looters will be shot or Korean businessmen during the Watts riots standing guard on the rooftops of their stores, people will step up.

If Democrats continue to reduce police budgets, soon we will see neighborhood vigilance committees being formed. It is just a proud tradition in the Western US going back a long time.

Not so fast on the gun control. It's actually been rather slack around there but some recently proposed amendments would have clamped things down for the worse.

Takes this guy a minute to start getting to the point but he explains it well.

Scottsdale AZ is similar.
We are starting to see the first signs of racial unrest.
Tagging of signs.
People walking the streets who clearly can’t afford to live here.
It all started Sept-Oct 2021.

“It all started Sept-Oct 2021.”

Did I have a stroke and miss several months?

huge and corrupt welfare state, total dependency of the lower classes, and a national ethos of racial and economic victimhood.

A letter perfect description of the democrats vision for this entire country. Anotherwords "we are South Africa"

If you do, please make sure that you have the skills to both physically and legally use a weapon. One of the most important things in the day and age, it to understand the local use of deadly force laws, what self-defense really means to a “reasonable man” and what brandishing means from a legal perspective.

Some folks who grew up with firearms or were in the military or taught by those in the military understand firearm skills and safe firearm handling. If you don't seek training.

However, few outside the law enforcement or legal profession understand the laws that govern the use of firearms and how you can get yourself into serious legal trouble trying to use “common sense” in your defense, when court cases are about legal precedents and legal technicalities.
