Aren’t they wonderful? The visitors who came in after they were hung up really liked them. There are a lot of cool items throughout the museum but some pop out. Those photos do.

No, it’s still pretty warm, but by sunrise the temp will be about 70. Too bad I won’t be getting up to feel the coolness. LOL!

I hope you got a measurable amount in that shower. Of course, that means that the nasty cotton will grow more. :)

Now see, if you’d go ahead and go all the way to become a “vampire” like me, you could step out to feel the coolness before going to bed. LOL!!

We got .3 of an inch from the 5 minutes of rain a little while ago. More is on the way and should be here in a hour or so.

The cotton has really taken off the past week or so with this weather. *sigh*

I’m just about as much of a vampire as I’ll ever be, I reckon. LOL! I get too sleepy at about 2:30am.

Sounds like that there will be more rain added to what you got. I wish it would drop the humidity, but not a chance.

The rain is taking its time getting here. Slowed down a bit. But it’s coming and should be here a while.

Rain doesn’t work that way. It doesn’t decrease humidity. It increases it. But as long as we’re moist, we don’t have wildfire threats so that’s a plus.

Did you have a better outing yesterday? Fewer folks at the lake and no rain interrupting your fun?

Well, for starters I went ahead and mowed the lawn yesterday.

There were some people out there at Comanche Lake including a man with a dog and 2 motorcyclists but other than that we did have fun out there.

Today Gizmo gets to see his BFF Ringo at the vet today. We also plan on doing Comanche Lake later today.

Good to hear you got the mowing out of the way. Now today will be freed up for Gizmo’s fun. Gets to see his buddy, Ringo, and won’t lose out on any time at the lake. He’ll be a very happy pooch. :-)

Penny is starting to feel her age, and doesn’t like hiking anymore. I still like it though, but not when it’s hot/rainy/hot.

So we BOTH are liking the porch more and more.
