A bruiser with a short fuse and a taste for bright green soda beat an elderly man so badly on a Bronx bus that he was hospitalized for days, police sources said. Police on Monday released video of the cruel May 31 assault, which left the 83-year-old victim with multiple facial fractures. Cops said the victim was trying to debark from an MTA bus near Barnes Ave. and E. Gun Hill Road in Williamsbridge about 5:30 p.m., but the suspect was standing in his way. The elderly man said “Excuse me” — and the suspect flipped out, dumping his green drink on the victim’s head. The humiliation wasn’t enough, though. The suspect punched the victim in the face several times, then left the bus and ran west on E. Gun Hill Road, cops said.
Medics took the victim to Jacobi Hospital, where he stayed for at least a week as doctors worked on his injuries, sources said. Police describe the suspect as dark-skinned, about 30- to 40 years old, roughly 5-feet-11 tall and weighing about 180 pounds. He wore a denim jacket, blue jeans, a black hat and black sneakers. Cops ask anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS.
“Dark skinned” seems to be the latest descriptor approved by the PC Police.
Well, “Excuse me.” must be racist. Or something.
When they catch this bastard, they should leave him in a room with the victim’s grandsons. If he doesn’t have any, I am sure that there will be no shortage of volunteers.
It really hurt them to say “dark-skinned”. They would have preferred to omit that, leaving you to believe that some evil Whitey did it.

We’re less than 100 miles from NYC, loved taking the train in for the day - haven’t been there since De Blasio took office, won’t be back ‘til after he’s gone. Too damned dangerous.
