>>The deadly heat wave that roasted the Pacific Northwest and western Canada was virtually impossible without human-caused climate change that added a few extra degrees to the record-smashing temperatures, a new quick scientific analysis found.
An international team of 27 scientists calculated that climate change increased chances of the extreme heat occurring by at least 150 times, but likely much more.<<
Not possible. There is no model to establish the base climate sans mankind, nor is it possible to then point to an event and say it is caused by the delta between the base and the observed.
AGW “science:” draw your lines then plot your points.

It’s been hot like this before, but it was back in 2005-2006 because I remember I was changing the oil in my keep and wondering why I was sweating so much-it was 110. This happening the PNW about every 15-20 years. Including in the 1960s.

These idiots fail to understand that temp records were set 100 years ago in most places. They act like all high temp records are being set year after year when most high temps were many decades ago. They also fail to account for all the low tempo records set lately.

The year was 1966, I remember mowing our lawn in Iowa. The temperature was 120 degrees. Not unusual for that summer.

Total bullcrap of course, I was born and raised in the Puget Sound region and have seen many heat waves occur when the jet stream heads north in the summer.
Just like a few weeks ago, at 3pm it was 105 degrees in the shade on my deck. Right then the West wind kicked up to about 20 knots, blew for 6 hours and by bedtime it was 65 degrees on the same thermometer.

A heat dome for a few days and then it went away, That’s called weather. But why would the NY Post publish such transparent nonsense. They used to be a little more hard boiled about these hysterias.
To: ChicagoConservative27
The Pacific Northwest had an intensive heat wave like this back in the mid 30’s. Portland hit a high of 120 degrees.
