James K. Kallstrom, an FBI agent who became a familiar presence on the nightly news as chief of the criminal investigation into the crash of TWA Flight 800 off the coast of Long Island in 1996, a confounding disaster first suspected to be an act of terrorism but ultimately attributed to a fuel tank explosion, died July 3 at his home in Fairfield, Conn. He was 78.
He had a rare cancer of the blood, said his wife, Susan Kallstrom.

I watched the missile attack on CNN multiple times late that night until it was taken down and the new narrative imposed. Fuel would be trailing behind, the missile exhaust was going up. There was no explosion until the exhaust trail caught the plane. That was the night CNN went from real news to fake news and never looked back. Like Mulder says “the truth is out there”.
I recall his comments about Clinton and his support for Trump. I intend to keep that as my memory of him.
RIP Jim.
He took the truth with him. The only thing that legitimized him was that Rush backed him on his radio show, that it was the fuel tank wiring.
Kallstrom followed orders, though I’d like to think he did so with great misgivings and possibly under duress (nice family you got there...). Had he wanted to drop the investigation, would the Clintons have had to order him to shut it down, via Hillary’s acolyte, Jamie “Angel of Death” Gorelick (author of the policies that gave the FBI an excuse to miss the 9-11 plot, and mentor of Garland Merrick, our reptilian AG)?
Absent their malign intervention, might Kallstrom have let the truth out of the bag?

This is a review of the book, Nightfall by Nelson DeMille, which is a fictional story about Flight 800. I read it several times. Shocking ending. I recommend it.
I knew someone on flight &00. Dan Gabor. He was a track star who excelled in the 800 distance. CA high school state champion. Every headline in his (too short) life had the number 800 in it.
The “cover up” could not have happened without him.
Whether they convinced him that revealing that we (U S Navy) shot down flight 800 or had something on him (dirt) doesn’t matter.
He was a TRAITOR to this country.
How many OTHER planes’ center fuel tanks exploded?
How many Pintos’ fuel tanks exploded?
A rocket blew flight 800 out of the sky, no doubt about it. If you don’t/won’t believe that, you are a FOOL.
So the night it happened he was interviewed and said, “if only the American people knew the truth”.
Next morning he’d been given his story line and the shot down story disappeared.
1000 folks saw it and wanted the FBI to hear and they were told thanks but no thanks.
We have our story line and are sticking to the center fuel tank b.S.
Excellent read!
I distinctly remember Dan Rather on TV talking live to the representative of El Al airline in NYC. The company rep clearly told Dan (Red Dan as I called him) that El Al had received ‘intelligence’ that their aircraft was targeted so they canceled the take off.
But another aircraft took off in its place, flight 800.
Story was spiked immediately and memory holed.
You don't seriously believe the USN shot down flight 800, do you?
May he rot in hell. There were so many first class eye witnesses who say surface to air missiles. 2.
Pilots. Police. Engineers. Teachers. Very plausible witnesses. He covered it all up.
Flight 800. Benghazi. Seal team six. Ruby ridge. Vegas shooting. Epstein. Mccaffey. The list is endless on the cover ups.
OK. Assume there was an explosion in the center fuel tank. Before the sound was heard light from the burning fuel that was initially exiting holes in the tank made by the rents. From the ground in the summer twilight this might appear as “missiles” entering the plane, not light leaving, followed by the boom. Light travels faster than sound. Also what “eyewitnesses” observe and recall is tainted by their recall affected by knowledge of the subsequent events.
Was he observed being shot in the head but the coroner determined it was a heart attack?
I vaguely remember something about the reporter Pierre Salinger claiming that he was given some sort of verification that the aircraft was struck by a US Navy missile. Maybe by the CIA? Can’t recall.
He attempted to provide the document to CNN but by that time the fix was in.
