In her final act, she will run for president in 2024 as an independent or as leader of a new party if Trump is the nominee of the Republican Party. Since she has no grassroots support, there's no way could she win the presidency that way. Neither could she act as a spoiler à la Ross Perot. The outcome would be more like John Schmitz's run for the White House in 1972, John Anderson's in 1980 or Pat Buchanan's in 1996 which had no impact whatsoever on the outcome of the election.

Seriously. Misguided articles are posted around here on daily basis, but this one takes delusion to entirely different level. Liz Cheney is utterly despised by GOP voters nationwide. And the Democrats certainly ain’t going to adopt Dick Cheney’s little princess as their nominee. So the idea that Liz has a path to the presidency is about as realistic as saying that Britney Spears has a path to the presidency. Actually Britney almost certainly has a better shot.
