Media Matters: Andrew Breitbart’s Attack on Critical Race Theory ‘Appears to be Working’
Breitbart ^ | 2 Jul 2021 | JOEL B. POLLAK

Media Matters for America, a George Soros-funded organization that attempts to censor conservative media, complained Thursday that Andrew Breitbart’s original 2012 attack on Critical Race Theory “appears to be working,” nine years later.

Media Matters’ Spencer Silva notes that today’s backlash against Critical Race Theory in communities all across America began with Breitbart News drawing attention to the doctrine, then a “little known academic study of systemic racism.”

Critical Race Theory is a doctrine that claims all the political, social, and economic institutions of the United States are inherently racist because they were developed during a time when black people could be owned as slaves. According to Critical Race Theory, capitalism itself is racist, because black people could once be held as private property. Events like Emancipation and the Civil Rights movement merely obscure the persistence of white supremacy, the theory holds.

Before his untimely death in 2012, Breitbart News founder Andrew Breitbart had linked then-President Barack Obama with Harvard Law School professor Derrick Bell, one of the founders of Critical Race Theory, whom Obama admired.

Silva recalls: “As Joel Pollak, then-editor-in-chief of Breitbart News, would tell CNN’s Soledad O’Brien, ‘Derrick Bell is the Jeremiah Wright of academia. He passed away last year, but during his lifetime, he developed a theory called critical race theory which holds that the civil rights movement was a sham and that white supremacy is the order and it must be overthrown.'”

Labeling people as good or bad based on their skin color... sure sounds like racism to me.

While I certainly applaud Breitbart and others for letting Americans know what the latest Leftist scheme to destroy our kids is, it is clearly NOT WORKING in the sense of stopping it.

If it was working, we wouldn’t have to be simultaneously having to fight all public (and most private) schools on this issue...and in a losing way, where they simply call it something else, repackage it, and force it into the classrooms anyway.

In fact, if we were winning on this issue, we would FINALLY understand that the people running our schools cannot be redeemed, in any way, and we would be UPROOTING entire public school systems and replacing them with people who are willing to listen parents and voters, at least in red states...and I don’t see that in Texas or any other state.

We’re getting our asses kicked because we still think we can control these animals (as we STILL think, even people here, they’re just misguided, rather than pure evil). Until that changes, they will keep winning.

They cannot be controlled, nor can you make compromise or peace them. KTF is the only solution.

The key thing to understand about CRT is that it is just a race-based variant of "Critical Studies" in general. And Critical Studies are core Marxism that simply substitute other aggrieved groups for the working class. They view the entire "system" as rigged, and "system" for them includes the economic system of capitalism. As Ibram X. Kendi has stated openly, you cannot be anti-racist unless you are anti-capitalist.

Treating CRT as if it is just a racial theory is missing the boat. Push hard enough on someone who advocates CRT, and they'll admit that it isn't just about criminal justice reform. It is rather a wholesale rejection of the capitalist economic system as something inherently unjust and stacked against minorities.

I agree - I was just trying come up with some way short of a wholesale revolution against the schools, but they’ll get around anything.

The ‘Reverend’ Wright, (”O’bozo’s” life-long pastor and associate) introduced all of us to CRT long ago.

Remember the ‘God damn America’ guy?? HE was the first we knew of this knuckle-scrapping lunacy!

If anyone wants to step back 2000 years in human development and knowledge, they only have to follow the ‘Reverend Wright’ conga-line down his zero IQ road to intellectual oblivion

EDUCATION and the current Educational Establishment is perhaps THE cornerstone of the problem for us ,AND them, which is why they’re so relentless about dismissing and threatening parents who object. There is NOTHING that they have to offer that can’t be challenged, and if need be, meet serious resistance up to and INCLUDING refusing to pay property taxes that go to ALL levels of schooling. Hitting them that way is the ONLY thing they will understand. Since the beginning with the Biden Administration I had a feeling that maybe, for the absolute FIRST time , would there be a full-fledged tax revolt in this country and what’s happening with CRT and the schools is and should be at the center of it.Loudon County Va is obviously the one that’s got the most attention, as if they agreed to be a “test case”-—they really can’t dare to go much further with the kind of pushback they’ve already seen, and there will only be more. They WON’T WIN!!

Slavery existed in Egypt, Mesopotamia, and China long before America.

So, moslems and communists are the problem. They are the descendants of historical slavers. And still practice it in slightly different forms.

‘meet serious resistance up to and INCLUDING refusing to pay property taxes that go to ALL levels of schooling.”

Won’t happen...not enough people will join (too much to lose and most taxpayers don’t even have kids in those ‘schools’).

It has to be done at the legislative level, or NOTHING will be done...other than a small number of conservatives being ridiculed as their property is seized from them.

This goes beyond that and actually goes beyond the book 1984.
Labeling people good or bad based on how you think they think.
