More than three-quarters of Americans still feel there’s at least some risk from the COVID-19 pandemic in attending July Fourth celebrations — with four in 10 believing the threat is moderate to high, according to a new poll.

Some 77 percent of respondents in an Axios-Ipsos poll ranked the celebrations as posing at least a small risk, with less than a quarter — 23 percent — maintaining there was no risk at all.

Based on the polls yesterday that showed the vast majority of Republicans think the pandemic is over and only like 4% of dems, pretty sure I know where they’re getting their “more than half.”

"I lost a friend from middle school because of his morbid covid fear. "

I can count my close friends on one hand. That's my choice. I've never felt the need to have more than that. Once a month I used to meet an old co-worker of mine and her husband at the casino near me. They live about an hour away. When the lockdown started, the casino was closed. When they started to reopen, they required masks, and social distancing. I told my friends I wouldn't be going back to the casino until they didn't require masks anymore. My friends would call periodically to see if they could get me to change my mind, but I wouldn't back down. They'd go, and perform like sheep. They even got the vaccine, but it was because they want to be able to continue traveling overseas. At least that was their excuse. I'm glad I stuck to my guns, and never met them, because I wouldn't have been nice to be around, and might have said things I'd have regretted later. It's been since March 2020 that I've been there.

They called me two weeks ago as the casino lifted their mask restriction for vaccinated people. I told them to let me know if they had to show their papers upon entry. My friend called me last week to say they didn't have to show proof of vaccine which is good. Unfortunately, her husband is now in the hospital for surgery to implant a stent for a blockage near his heart. They couldn't put the stent in during the catheterization procedure because of that. Haven't heard from her yet, so hopefully, no news is good news.

Some 77 percent of respondents

What a coincidence. From my experience around 75% of people are idiots.

Before folks start teeing off on their fellow Americans, two things to keep in mind....

1) Look at where the poll comes from. Snort.

2) If so many of our fellow citizens were truly morons Deep State wouldn’t have to steal elections, would it?

Come on, people. They want us at each other’s throats.

Don’t oblige them.

Last year, I ran a summer camp for 15 boys and adults, spent a day at Walter Reed t=with a few hundred patriots when our President was in the hospital, attended March for Life, went to a little rally on January 6, traveled to 22 states, ate in countless restaurants and stayed in a bunch of hotels. All without masks or at least as little as possible

Last week I helped out at a summer camp with 400 boys and adults.

I sure ain’t scared of celebrating our independence..

Not necessarily. The average (mean) doesn’t tell us about the median IQ. We cannot make the assumption that half are below the average (mean) IQ, or that half are above for that matter.

I don’t mind stupid, many folks just aren’t very informed,, maybe because they don’t get involved in po,itics too much, or because they are just to busy to keep up on current events. What I mind are nasty vicious stupid people who ,eep up on politics a d current events, but only to the extent that they follow the hate-full liberal agenda, and dont bother to investigate actual facts because they dismiss facts right out of the gate in favor of foisting their hate-filled liberal socialist agenda on everyone .
