How To Starve Big Tech
American Thinker ^ | 04/25/2021 | Jim Daws

Posted on 06/27/2021 7:54:19 AM PDT by LuciusDomitiusAutelian

The sad part is that Big Tech’s control over the free flow information is almost entirely illusory and based wholly on our submission to it. Much in the same manner that consumers become zealously brand-conscious, we have come to accept that Microsoft, Apple, Google, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube have some innate value that makes them indispensable. We forget that Big Tech’s dominance has come about in just one generation and we can track a direct trajectory between the rise of Big Tech and the radical Left’s ascendancy.

Quit aiding and abetting the enemy. I also suggest getting NordVPN. Drop you Netflix, Hulu, Prime, Disney and any other leftist corporate morons posing as capitalists. It is nothing but bread and circuses. Start getting yourself in shape, stock up on beans and bullets, grow a garden, read a book. Anything but feeding these idiots.

That’s the only part I worry about. Phasing put physical media. You eventually won’t be able to watch DVDs anymore.

The issue is not starving Big Tech. Big Tech is not our greatest threat by a long shot.

The issue is starving the BIG UNCONSTITUTIONAL FEDERAL GOVERNMENT!!!

The 80%+ unconstitutional feds have now become totalitarian and is by far the greatest threat to America’s recovery of her Free Constitutional Republic.

Don’t buy their DVDs. Use alt-tech like BitChute, Rumble, Odysee. Get a ROKU and watch free channels. I am not advocating anything illegal but Hollywood is the enemy. Every chance you get to rip their work without paying them do it. Starve them.

If you have a laptop with blue tooth and Windows 10 and a ROKU simply click the icon in the bottom right corner that looks like a caption, choose Project, select the blue tooth device you want to use (Roku, SmartTV, don’t buy Amazon or Apple products) and watch away.

And for God’s sake folks. If you have an echo or Alexa in your home you have pretty much bugged yourself for the NSA.

But you should start preparing yourself for entertainment without electricity. Boredom is God awful. Your physical well-being should be a much higher priority than entertainment but entertainment is important to keep the mind from crumbling.

Dropped Netflix already, never got the others (going to miss The Witcher season 2, but could not in good conscious watch Netflix after "Cuties").

The scary thing is what AWS (Amazon's cloud) did to Parler. Its was like a utility company not sending electricity to a factory after the factory went through a lot of expense to hook up to that particular utility company.

AWS gave some BS reason about Parler being used to promote violence at Jan 6 riots, which is complete garbage. The real obvious reason was political, and it sends a message that those in the tech industry heard...don't give the right a voice, or we will screw you.

Who do you think funds their campaigns and spreads their propaganda. Who do you think is bailing out ANTIFA and BLM?

Burn their fields, salt their soil, and send them the way of Carthage!

What do yo mean “we” kemosabe? I do not use use Facebook, never have. I avoid Google to the greatest extent possible. Same for Instsagram, etc. Folks who use them assent to and give them power by using them. And when Zuckerberg amasses enormous wealth because of the cumulative power of billions of people assenting to his power - he spends it on things like ballot harvesting in select battleground states in 2020 ( through the cut out of a non-profit organization) and tilts the election. Seemingly trivial acts like sharing photos of you grandchildren or funny dog tricks have consequences - because at the scale granted to someone like Zuckerberg, people have granted him the power to use (what is to him) pocket change to distort the electoral outcome and subject our country to horribly bad leadership. Wake up, people!

I wish I could share publicly methods to get whatever you want for free as far as media. Yes, AWS and Azure are anti-Republic and have a monopoly. I don’t know how old you are but there are plenty of other methods of entertainment. Books, console games, hobbies. Sitting around watching the bubetube is how we got here. Work out and keep your body in the best condition you can because if the COVID thing should have taught us anything, it is that you cannot trust the medical field any longer.

Bribery is an illegal and unconstitutional GOVENRMENT act.

The Left wants to distract you any way they can from the REAL problem. Free Enterprise is one of the Left’s biggest targets for those who are gullible or ignorant about freedom and free enterprise, because the Left HATES freedom and free enterprise.

Again, free enterprise isn’t the problem when corrupt government pays them to be on their side. Government is the culprit. Quit believing the Delusional Lying Leftist Media.

Oh I have no trouble keeping entertained without Netflix. Still am bummed about the one show, but its not worth supporting a company that would peddle soft kiddie-porn like “Cuties”.

Jim W N. If you don’t think our government runs on bribery you are sorely misinformed. And if you believe the Republic still exists, I hate to rain on your parade but..... THE REPUBLIC IS DEAD.

True Capitalism has never been tried. You can’t have laizzes-faire Capitalism with over 200,000 federal regulations on top of state regulations.

That was a blessing in disguise.

AWS is a private enterprise in a competitive landscape. It's not like a regulated utility.

Conservatives whining about Big Tech and crying for anti-trust bust-ups are forgetting that you'd have DMV-like people at Justice overseeing the process. We'd likely wind up with a federal mandate FORCING the use of AWS.

AWS' ban of Parler woke up more sleeping Americans than anything recently (except maybe Twitter and FB banning Trump). Americans may not like a "loudmouth" politician, but a private company acting like a wing of the DNC was eye-opening.

In 10-15 years Amazon will be like IBM today. The Invisible Hand is better than the Justice Dept.

The only control Big Tech has over the flow of information is on their own platforms.

Don’t use their platforms and information is not controlled by them.

I’ve often said we need a “Rosetta Stone” for electronic files.

E.g., some of Eisenhower’s speeches are on 16mm videotape - basically unplayable.

Tech firms like Microsoft, Adobe Flash, etc. made many websites unwatchable due to software updates.

Don’t be a lowlife thief. If you don’t want to pay, don’t use the product.

I hate thieves.

So says the POW from the prison the Left has put him in. Was blood spilt in your fight for your God-given freedom before you became a POW? Or maybe you’re MIA having gone over to the other side pandering and parroting their arguments against free enterprise, completely missing the great threat of unconstitutional government about which the Left blinds you.

Well, Buster there’s many of us who will not relinquish freedom without a fight. Our Free Constitutional Republic is as dead or alive as the hearts of the American People deem it so. If your heart is dead to the Republic, so be it. Rots a Ruck.

I think it would be useful if an aspiring journalist (they do still have those, don’t they?!) were to assemble some metrics on the trends of userbase for Fakebook and Twatter. Are they growing, and if so are they meeting forecasts?

Businesses like these are “grow or die” - it’s not enough to have a userbase, they need to constantly attract new users.

My guess is that they are reaping the rewards of tyranny with a contracting userbase.
