I may revise my guess and go with salt corrosion in the structural columns if as others have said the limestone bedrock is fairly shallow in that area. I will still stand on failure not explosion.
I remember that video from years ago in Israel when the building collapsed and there was a wedding reception going on, people were dancing when suddenly the floor gave way, horrible.
Of course all the media will care about is how to pin this on DeSantis.
There is a video interview of a survivor posted on twitter where the survivor says the garage collapsed first, followed by the rest of the building moments later.
That may be but most of the people I have seen speaking about the event are from South America.

I am going to bet on a sinkhole or mini-sinkhole, which in turn will be blamed on global warming (of course)
Remember that these buildings are generally seasonal residences. If this happened in January, the death toll would be much worse.

Video from the neighboring building shows the center section collapse then the right side. Your pic is accurate. What’s left standing is less than half of the structure.
Videos show parking garage is standing building pancaked to the level below. Remaining structure must be highly unstable
