The Ad Council, in collaboration with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), has launched a campaign urging Americans to continue to wear a mask until they are vaccinated.
Per a Tuesday press release detailing the campaign:
The campaign, supported by a grant from The Rockefeller Foundation, is an extension of the national ‘Mask Up America’ campaign, which throughout the pandemic has aimed to increase compliance and acceptance of wearing masks and face coverings as one of the main prevention behaviors in order to slow the spread of COVID-19, and including vaccination, social distancing, and hand washing.

The Ad Council is just a propaganda wing. If they aren’t telling me to mask my face they are pushing sexual perversion and etc.
Dear Ad Council:
GFY.
I loathe the ad council
Stupid Is as Stupid Does.
What purpose does a mask serve? I was led to believe it can help stop the spread of the virus, but then it was proven that masks don’t do a thing when it comes to the virus.
There is a moronic ad on TV right now with kids ‘thanking their moms’ (apparently dads are idiots who aren’t even given any consideration- but the counteraegument is the dads are much smarter and avoid the vaccine lol), for ‘telling the kids about vaccines’ so they can run right out and get the shots. It starts by akids saying ‘thanks mom for telling us blah blah blah
Even worse, they have a ‘Baptist preacher’ telling everyone how it’s their biblical duty to get the vaccine for a virus that has a near 100% survival rate for the majority of people
No. CDC, stop with the anti-science propaganda.
Whenever I go shopping at a supermarket inevitably I hear that damn public service announcement about wearing masks. It still rankles me ever time I hear it.
The corruption and vapidity of the ad industry is nothing new. On the upside, we got MAD magazine out of it.
I don’t do TV. I was at a friends house a few months ago and got exposed to a lot of broadcast TV. If I was constantly exposed to the PSA’s I saw at his house, I’d be scared to death of this virus. But I’m not, so I’m not.
I’ve successfully ignored the Ad Council for my entire life. No reason to change now.
I catch the evening news at a buddy’s house sometime. Vaccine infomercial for 15 minutes of it.
It probably ‘cuts down’ on how much virus gets expelled, but it certainly does not eliminate it nearly well enough to prevent Inf3ction, that has been proven. That is science. The very science the left accuse us of denying.
Also, it must be remembered that almost everyone who has gotten the virus was wearing masks because of mandates, so masks do very little to prevent the virus, and may very well be responsible for more cases because people would wear them, and take them off, throw them on their dashboards, the. Touch their faces with their hands which have now picked up virus from handling their irus covered masks- although the person was likely a.reay infected while wearing the mask anyways.. but if not, they likely were when they touched their faces afterwards.
What’s kinda comical is that they quote all these individuals and agencies I have zero respect for. They might as well do a nightly roundup of AlGore and Gretchen’s climate warnings.
Bekeive me, some of the more liberal stations do exactly that. We get our weather news from a local liberal news station, as it’s the only one for our area on TV, we try to time it so that we don’t have to watch their lies while waiting for the weather to come on, as their motto is ‘weather on the ones’,(10 past, 20 past 30 past etc- don’t aks me how they get ‘ones’ out of that lol), and every now and again we get to the station a bit too early, and wow, their x’climate crisis’ nonsense seems to run non stop
That is about as sick as the non-stop ad with “I’ll be seeing you” playing in background, showing grandma looking sad at grandkid art, on her fridge, then....getting her experimental shot....and, running out of her door to hug her visiting grandkids.
I feel like 1930s Germany has moved here.
