UAP response.
Notice the bump in UAP, UFO, ET stories as of late?
What operation is trying to be hidden, with is palpitating UFO bubble up?
Probably searching for those nasty white supremacists.
White UFOs.
Who's up there?
Cougar, Merlin, Maverick and Goose.
Great. Maverick and Goose. Launch the alert five aircraft.
I was thinking the same thing. Alaska ANG I’d understand, but Hawaii?
Turns out you’re correct. Airliner incident.Cray Turkish passenger.
Was Obama there? When I lived there jets buzzed around day and night for that bozo.
UFO sighting?
The KC-135 may have been launched to take advantage of the opportunity and update the refueling qualification dates for a crew (or several crews). It’s likely from a Reserve unit and it’s normally a pain to schedule training for them.
Hawaii Air National Guard has F-22s? F-15s and F-16s are not enough? The USAF doesn’t have enough F-22s as it is and we give them to the Air National Guard. Sheesh.
Yes; 192nd Wing VaANG.
Hawaii does. Used to live in Ewa Beach. The approach to Honolulu airport was just south of there. Watched the F22s return from sorties daily.
You hear the Raptor Howl?
Lots of weird military events go on around Hawaii.
The real reason was there were Japanese airliners approaching Pearl Harbor.....
"Hold muh beer while I strap these home-made rockets to muh truck."
Or Sally Field is goofing around again with her old nun costume.
It makes no sense. Sure, HI and DC are invaluable, strategically. But, the F-22 doesn’t bring ANYTHING more to the mission of homeland defense than F-15s and F-16s do other than MASSIVELY increased operational costs.
We didn’t have many F-22s to begin with. Then, after that FL hurricane (Michael, maybe?) several years ago wiped out Tyndall where many of our F-22s were stationed, we have even fewer. And yet, the Air Force is fine burning through engine and airframe hours flying CAP patrols around DC and Hickam.
Two or three years ago, the Government Accountability Office noticed the same thing in a report they generated about the problems with the F-22 program.
Actually, VA Guard was flying F-16s, and they were based at the Richmond Airport. When the F-22s arrived, they moved to Langley (about 75 miles away) and became a partner unit with the 1st Fighter Wing.
Loved that movie.
