Trump meets with GOP leaders to plot a path to win back the House majority in 2022.

Thursday in Bedminster, New Jersey, former President Trump met with GOP leaders to plot a path to win back the House majority in 2022.

“We talked for most of the time about the work that the Republican Study Committee is doing to define the agenda for the future course of the Republican Party, which is fighting for the Trump agenda,” Rep. Banks told the NY Post. “We talked about our election integrity bill, The Save Democracy Act, which he was very supportive of and we talked about what we’ve done to define immigration moving forward. We spent nearly two hours with the President with President Trump who’s in great spirits.”

“We believe we take back the majority by focusing on the Trump agenda, and President Trump plays a big role in that,” Banks continued. “He’s obviously planning to go out and hit the road and campaign for candidates who share our vision, and we were excited to talk to him about that.”

“I can say that members of our group are very encouraging, and if not encouraging him to run in 2024, encouraging him to continue to communicate with American people and engage with the American people,” he added.

I’m not really one for the Cult of Personality.
But, having said that, our country is in a lot of trouble and there seems to be precious few people to trust. I trust Trump. I think people need to be 100% behind Trump and his plans. No caveats. No, “Hey, I know his tweets are offensive, but ...”. Stop. Just stop. I accept Trump for who he is. I overlook any and all possible flaws. I’m 100% in, and I don’t see any value in soft language which dilutes his message in any way.

Some GOP’ers complain more about bad Tweets than bad policy.

President Trump stands alone in the revival of the American experiment.

In part because he can’t be bought. He refuses to submit to an America being sold out by the ChiComDems and feckless GOPe to Globalist s and the number one enemy: Communist China.

Think about it.

Trump ran as a Republican out of necessity and then had to conduct himself in office accordingly, but let’s be honest here: One of the things we found most appealing about him is that he exposed the Beltway GOP as a bunch of feckless frauds.

I appreciate that you didn’t excerpt the New Sthud blog.

However, the blog article is nothing more an excerpt of this four day old New York Post article (and the Post article has less creepy ads but I suppose ad blockers takes care of that). I see that the original article didn’t get posted to FR, so I’ll post the link to the original here.

I agree.

He can meet with them, but only if he gets to turn the handle on the spanking machine.

"The Save Democracy Act" ... very wary of that, considering we do not have a democracy. Leave it to establishment Republicans to identify the wrong problem and use government to new create other problems or make the situation worse. Quite honestly, the constitution provides very little room for the federal government to impose legislation on elections. Off the top of my head, I think they can set the date of the election and that's about it. It is a state problem, we need to correct the RINO problem at the state level, first. Here in PA, RINOs who control the state legislature have proposed a voter integrity bill. It legalizes many of the practices that lead to voter fraud. The problem isn't integrity, it is voter fraud. It should be the Anti-Voter Fraud Act. That legislation is actually very simple if they only listen to the voters.

I don't trust these people as far as I can throw them. 80 to 95% of Republican politicians need to be replaced.

Trump has already done the most important thing for America. He brought vote fraud front and center where it needed to be. Japan knows what happens when you awaken a sleeping giant.

Simplest way:

Put TRUMP on the ballot.

Trump runs for congress, and make every GOP candidate running declare if they will support voting for Trump as speaker if they take the house.

Those that refuse get primaried challenged by an America First candidate.

Trump spends the next 2 years trolling the agenda, pushing election integrity changes, and trolling the dementia puppet and illegitimate administration and returns to the White House in 2024.

Short of that, I question highly 2022.. the GOPe spit in the faces of a lot of reliable supporters when they sat by and let an election be stolen and did nothing about it... I doubt highly those folks are going to show up in 2022....

Given they showed votes no longer matter, a lot of folks will no longer give them their vote.

I have been and will continue to be, 1000 percent behind the greatest President of my lifetime, Donald J. Trump. And you read that correctly: Trump is more effective and heads above my beloved President Reagan. I miss him deeply.

Trump would last about 2 hours in Congress before he quit in an epic tirade.

Real leaders don't aspire to join any organization that is run by committee.

You know, as for me I’m through with the metaphorical spanking machines or other methods to get people like Cheney and McConnell in line. Republicans like those two, Republicans like Ryan, Romney, Pence etc., need to be told to leave the party. Period. Stripped of all they hold. (Yes Pence. For what he did on Nov 6th alone).

Until the GOP gets its act together, supports Trump fully and completely (and it will take hard line, cruel actions), they can forget any support from this former Republican.

I left the party after the Nov 3rd election fraud. They sure want my money. Then its screw you people and Trump till next time we need cash.

I found it appealing that Trump made a small environment where Rand Paul could rise to do things I don’t think he would have otherwise done.

I think Paul is currently the best member of the Senate, and he would have been more like his father without Trump.

Trump offered an opportunity for people to “straighten out” and they didn’t take it. It is really more depressing how weak our bench is. The other side is a lost cause.

WRONG. Trump would last 2 hours then have the situation fully under control. And two minutes later, the media would follow with tired tactics declaring Trump to be recalled for having an epic tirade. I have faith in Trump.

The House is hardly ran by committee, Nancy rules over there with an iron fist. Only Nancy decides what comes to the floor, committees only get to argue the points, that she allows. Same sort of thing in the Senate.

That is what I meant by that metaphor.

I want the House retaken Trump’s way.

If a Paul Ryan is going to be in charge, I don’t want my name on it.

(I also don’t expect this to happen.)

Nancy only rules over the Democrat side with an iron fist because her party is run by a small number of major donors who call all the shots and her caucus is filled with a bunch of nitwits who would literally be tending bar if they don't toe the party line.

Notice how weak the GOP House Speakers have been over the years. That's because the GOP has a lot of House members who aren't afraid to be renegades -- in a positive way -- and don't consider themselves beholden to the Speaker at all.
