MSNBC anchor Brian Williams, who lost the NBC Nightly News anchor position for fabricating a journalism war story, blasted Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W. Va., this week for living in a world "of his own imagination."
Williams also suggested West Virginia deserved less say in the U.S. Senate because of its small population.

LOL! Says Brian “Walter Mitty” Williams.
I hope people go after him on Twitter to remind him of his own fabrications. What a jerk.
Hello, Kettle. This is Pot.
West Virginia is beautiful., it’s one of the undiscovered treasures of the country.
“Williams also suggested West Virginia deserved less say in the U.S. Senate because of its small population.”
Brian, you’re fired! The guy has a D next to his name.
Joe Manchin deserves a lot of credit for helping to preserve the Senate’s intended role as a deliberative body to put a halt to legislation by the heat of the moment.
As Madison put it in Federalist 62, “The necessity of a senate is not less indicated by the propensity of all single and numerous assemblies, to yield to the impulse of sudden and violent passions, and to be seduced by factious leaders into intemperate and pernicious resolutions. . . . All that need be remarked is, that a body which is to correct this infirmity, ought itself to be free from it, and consequently ought to be less numerous. It ought moreover to possess great firmness, and consequently ought to hold its authority by a tenure of considerable duration. . . .
. . . The mutability in the public councils, arising from a rapid succession of new members, however qualified they may be, points out, in the strongest manner, the necessity of some stable institution in the government. . . .”
The Founders recognized the need for a more deliberative body in the legislative branch to cool the passions and control the urges of democratic masses, and that’s one of the functions protected by the filibuster.

Ah, another of N media idiots (where N is a very large number) who failed to understand the very concept of the senate & the house.
We really do need a new personalized guillotine for when their time comes. And given their bent, it will hopefully come soon.
Well he only has half a brain, at best
How fortunate we are to have the Founding Fathers who foresaw idiots like Williams. Williams really is a dim bulb. In the Senate, West Virginia is the equal of California, and that's the way the Fathers wanted it.
Williams reported live on location from inside Manchin’s imagination.
What about Bernie Sanders and Leaky Leahy?
That Hirono disaster?
Sheldon Whitehouse?
The Left is something to behold. Were proven liars and perverts stroking themselves on live Zoom calls are reinstated to their jobs like nothing happened.
What a country.
Apparently this imbecile does not know enough about American history to possibly fathom the genius of the Great Compromise.
SPJNK.
That's what the Senate is FOR, you pompous jerk! To make sure the smaller states have their say and aren't steamrolled by the larger ones. There was a time when the 'liberals' understood that. Dear God, journos are so effin ignorant these days.
take me home, country roads......
