My fellow New Yorkers, you know what we are doing is crazy: Unmask. It’s time. It’s long past the time.
What happened to us? How are we entering summer 2021, with many of us still masked, despite all the evidence suggesting we should stop?
There was never any need to wear masks outdoors. Even Dr. Anthony Fauci admits that, yet on every street there are people, often alone, continuing to wear a mask.
Some stores continue to require masking, even as nearly 70 percent of New Yorkers are vaccinated.
And our kids suffer most of all, as the science-denying teachers union and a union-captive Department of Education demand children stay masked on 90-degree days, even during recess outdoors.
It’s a mass hysteria, and it’s terrifying.

New Yorkers are trained in the art of spotting and avoiding scams from a young age. We know no one ever wins at three-card monte. We know never to take the “free” CD from the guy in Times Square. We know the guy claiming he just needs money for a bus ticket to Rochester will still be here a year from now.
Yet we continue to accept that safety lies in wearing a mask for the 3 feet to the restaurant hostess-stand but removing it for our meal. We pretend that masking while riding a bike or running makes an iota of difference.
Masking has become a religion, and like most new faiths, it isn’t very well thought-out — or humane.

We can do this. But it has to start with letting go of our security-blanket masks and acknowledging the mistakes we made. Let’s get back to who we were before the virus, before bad decisions by politicians and tyrannical “experts” broke us. Let’s be New Yorkers again.

A reason still given for masks: “doctors wear them.” Only when they are near on open wound, when the operating room needs to be sterile. Or when a politicized licensing board or governor makes them wear them in their offices.
I learned so much about society in a very short amount of time. Most of this is history repeating and dystopia coming to our reality.
The Linues and Lilians need their security blankets.

I think you are on to something. I was the only person in Giant in Northern Virginia without a mask on! I just couldn’t figure out why. Same at a Walmart and Aldi. Leftists.

They were never good at logic in the first place. What they do is based on emotions, period. Logic and science tell you that the virus is at all levels (heights) of our space, yet some people think that it can’t hurt you if you take your mask off while sitting down at a restaurant to eat, but you must put it on to protect yourself and others while walking TO or FROM the table. It’s sheer idiocy.
This has always been about one thing, getting rid of Donald Trump. He was instituting policies that were bad for Communist China, and helpful to the United States. That HAD to be stopped. So China unleashed its bioweapon (that Fauci gave approval for funding through backdoor entities). China lied about its origin. China lied about everything having to do with SARS-CoV-2.
Our mainstream propaganda press bought all of it as they do over and over. They are not critical thinkers. They pretend to question things, but do so only for Trump matters. Anything Democrat is perfectly fine. Nothing to see here, move along.
They succeeded in getting Trump removed. Now they will do everything they can to keep it that way. So they will keep appealing to people’s emotions.
Kids should have to grow up wearing a mask over their faces. But that’s what’s happening. What does it signify to those promulgating it? That we are drones, faceless subjects of the state which showed its power when it made us do that. The state never gives up power.
After watching the fearful stupidity, paranoia, and ignorance of people over the past 15 months, I no longer have a hard time understanding how Nazi Germany happened.
People, as a group, are absolute imbeciles, governed by fear and emotion.
1) a sign of submission, subversion and subjugation
2) mandated in order to dehumanize
3) virtue signaling devices
4) meant to provide constant reinforcement of fear
5) used to destroy community, friends and family normal communication
6) implemented to create isolation, confusion, anxiety, destroy human connectivity, trust and interactions
7) mandated to exacerbate illness
8) intended to aid in the abandonment of the belief and reliance on our immune systems
9) intended to refute integrous science
10) signal to positions of power that you are willing to give up all of your rights and freedoms based on anything they say, even if it is a BIG FAT LIE!
