Fed-up parents plan to troll elite NYC schools with anti-woke billboards

That’s what fed-up private school parents hope will happen to administrators when they send mobile billboards to troll six of the city’s poshest, politically correct prep schools Monday.

Each sign truck will be parked outside a school during dropoff and pickup with one of the following slogans emblazoned on the sides:

“DIVERSITY NOT INDOCTRINATION”

“TEACH HOW TO THINK, NOT WHAT TO THINK”

“WOKE SCHOOL? SPEAK OUT”

The $10,000 protest is being coordinated by a group of anonymous parents calling itself “Prep School Accountability.”

Progressive/commies have been getting bolder, much more aggressive, and, of course, obnoxious in their march to take over everything. Hi-jacking expensive schools and teaching kids to hate themselves and their parents seems to have finally awakened normal, productive Americans.

Well...we taxpayers have been and are currently paying our local and state governments on the average of $20,000-30,000 per student every year for exactly the same kinds of indoctrination.

And yet we still enroll our kids in these leftist centers and now to their “educational” agendas.

It’s in the overwhelming majority of public school systems and that includes the heartland and “conservative” red states.

If you really want the upcoming generations to u do the decades of Marxist indoctrination, we have to make an impact and change the tide of what we have allowed.

We either need to sacrifice and pull our kids out immediately And use other far superior methods of education or we just need to admit we are too selfish and will hope for the best.

It starts with teacher training—the so-called “Schools of Education” in public and private universities that attempt to foist off “education” as a discipline akin to mathematics, engineering etc. There is no branch of intellectual pursuit called education; aspiring teachers should become proficient in what they teach, not an array of courses that allude to a “history of education” or “theories of education” and the like. I have no problem with a limited number of such courses being incorporated into other higher education program areas, but the notion of education as a discipline is a joke and a disservice to anyone who wants to teach at any level of our K-12 system and more of a disservice to the public who pays the freight for the education of our young.

Nice post. I would take exception to the need for newspapers to provide “balanced presentation”, as long as all flavors of presentation are available, which is what you had in 19th century NYC and most big cities.

Yah, I’ve similar qualms about “balanced”. Word is so loaded. Liberals tried this tack back when talk-radio rolled out a lot of non-liberal shows. They wanted gov’mt to require balance since few to none liberal talk-shows could sustain an audience. Similar thing tried when WWW sites started to impact MSM.
Now, with commies/CCP firmly in charge of BigTech and their censorship of all non-commie news, the left is quiet. They have won.

You have the right to speak out in New York, hand out flyers and petitions, and wear expressive clothing in and around schools — as long as you don’t disrupt the functioning of the school or violate the school’s content-neutral policies. Because it is being accomplished in the street outside school it will require a parade permit. But if it violates school grounds or property, they will be arrested for trespass and fined.

But violation of content neutral policies is a broad term. I hope they can do it, but I see a bad moon rising.

I agree with what you say. People need to start attending the school board meetings. Especially people who don’t have any children in the schools. Those schools do not exist to make little Billy and Sally feel good about themselves, they exist for the good of all of our society.

I also think the Rs should run on a ticket of voucherizing all Federal Education $$. That would really shake things up.

They can get the permit and as long as they stay off school property and do not disrupt the schooling process they are legal. But if they enter property or take any action that accomplishes even a glimmer of disruption, the schools will call the heat and they will be dispersed possibly taken to jail and their point will be stricken from anywhere. Nothing but a big disappointment, the media will beat them like a step child, and take them apart publicly. Worse than a lost cause as it will set up anyone trying to play the game the way the libs do to be negative and feared.
