Nice post. I would take exception to the need for newspapers to provide “balanced presentation”, as long as all flavors of presentation are available, which is what you had in 19th century NYC and most big cities.
Yah, I’ve similar qualms about “balanced”. Word is so loaded. Liberals tried this tack back when talk-radio rolled out a lot of non-liberal shows. They wanted gov’mt to require balance since few to none liberal talk-shows could sustain an audience. Similar thing tried when WWW sites started to impact MSM.
Now, with commies/CCP firmly in charge of BigTech and their censorship of all non-commie news, the left is quiet. They have won.
