Critical Race Theory: Georgia the First State Board of Education to Move Against CRT
breitbart ^ | 7 Jun 2021 | SUSAN BERRY

The Georgia Board of Education is the first state board to adopt a resolution to ban both the teaching of tenets of Critical Race Theory (CRT) and “action” or “protest” civics in the state’s public schools.

CRT is a Marxist philosophy that embraces the concept that all social and cultural issues should be viewed through the lens of race.

“Action” or “protest” civics is an initiative that seeks to indoctrinate K-12 students into woke “action” political organizing, under the guise of restoring “unity.”

Texas recently passed the first measure in the country to prohibit both CRT and “action” or “protest” civics and sent it to Gov. Greg Abbott (R).

The State of Florida, through our Governor, has already banned CRT. However, I think it will be a school board by school board fight, so the Georgia action is very encouraging.

“it will be a school board by school board fight”

Shouldn’t citizens be asking why school boards are in this fight? Is it because they determine the curriculum? Then why do they choose to dilute the basic subjects with the woke stuff? Does the general public agree with the school board?

They better be careful. They’ll pull the MLB All Star Game. Oh. Never mind

“Does the general public agree with the school board?”

Could be as school board members are most generally elected by the communities they serve.

I just sent the Breitbart article to my state representative in Idaho asking him to get going and pass a similar law or resolution banning CRT in Idaho public schools and creating a pro-American curriculum using the 1776 Project as the basis.

All being done to appease the Conservative base in the state.

Kemp and his minions are doing all they can to save themselves.

Let’s see how Fulton, Dekalb, Richmond, Clarke, muscogee, Chatham, Dougherty counties react to this.

Technically, yes. In reality the elections take place with virtually no one knowing about them, so they end up being a bunch of teachers and activist parents voting.

Be nice if the elections were the same day as larger elections, and if political party or something else could be used to distinguish candidates...but nope, not in Texas at least and probably not in Georgia either.

You forgot Clayton, Henry, Rockdale, Douglas and Cobb counties.

Most of their populations would love CRT taught in schools.

Well, this is interesting. At least Atlanta had done something I can agree with, after helping to steal the election. The Atlanta School Board is predominately black, as Atlanta is predominately black.

My bad. You’re absolutely correct. Especially since I live near Rockdale. That place sucks.

And what’s astonishing is the way Cobb has changed.

And we both forgot Gwinnett.

Cobb and Gwinnett, two of the most Conservative places on the planet. Gwinnett is done having elected a Democrat sheriff and radical DA. Cobb isn’t that far behind.
