This is what the Dems wanted all along. Republicans always fall for this crap, negotiating in bad faith to save a few billion and then brag about how they stopped the Dems overspending and how conservative they are.
Only a fraction of this bill will go to actual infrastructure. The rest is payoffs to various left-wing groups and orgs.
