Supporters and activists in Minnesota, across the US and around the globe remember the life of George Floyd on the one-year anniversary of his killing at the hands of former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin.

I don't like the way Floyd has been elevated to Sainthood.
All the murals/banners/pictures and slogans etc. are all on display for the one year anniversary.
If you wish to avoid it don't turn on the news!
More footage of loser bowing for BLM or even laying face-down on the ground.
I never, ever will bow for a criminal like Floyd!
A prominent Black Lives Matter activist was shot by a group of four black men at a party in south London, police say.
“St. George of Fentanyl”
Thanks, Lurkinanloomin
Ummm...OK I didn’t turn on the “news” and here it is in my face anyway, very first topic on screen...
Not your fault of course, just pointing out that it is going to be impossible to avoid seeing all the hoopla about saint floyd.
Criminal worship is in!!
I wonder how many innocent people will be assaulted, injured, or killed during the memorial events.
“People”
They do?!!
The woke crowd has torn down all sorts of heroes because of OTHER things they are accused of doing. Floyd was no saint.
I’m having my George Floyd moment of silence now. I hope the flush doesn’t disturb the solitude.
How much taxpayer funding is going into this today?
people ‘around the globe remember the life of George Floyd’
Really ???
His life ??? or the one made up for TV ???
In regards to George Floyd’s death:
What’s for lunch?
CC
He died doing what he loved to do!
At least he killed himself, and wasn’t murdered like Ashli Babbitt.
The nature of het attackers didn’t stop BLM from saying that she’d been shot after receiving threats and being a lighting rod for her activism.
Starting next year they’ll move the holiday to the weekend, except in his case it will be a four day weekend; Fentanyl Friday and Funny Money Monday.
Are they celebrating his “One Year Sober”?
celebrating the death of a career criminal - one who never contributed a positive iota to society but was a constant problem.
How about celebrating the real problem. That is, 13% of our population commits 50% of the shootings - year after year.
Oops! Wrong one. My bad.
The Left always paints a rosy picture of the bad guys and creates a saint-like portrait of them.
Then they end up idolizing a drug using, low life, criminal thug as their hero.
They've got nothing else in their playbook.
The guy was a habitual thief, liar and druggie with a criminal record.....the colored people don’t appear to have a sense what a real hero is...rather than one they’ve manufactured like a comic book character.
“I don’t like the way Floyd has been elevated to Sainthood.”
Agreed - it’s ridiculous and disgusting.
