Campaign Finance records show that Texas Governor Abbott, Lt Governor Dan Patrick, and House Speaker Dade Phelan received hundreds of thousands of dollars from a PAC for a clinic that offers chemical castrations to transgender children.
UT Southwestern Medical Center offers hormone therapy, chemical castration, menstruation suppression, and puberty blockers to minors who struggle with gender dysphoria. Campaign finance records show that the friends of UT Southwestern Center handed out well over $250,000 to Abbott, Patrick, and Phelan since 2015.
Governor Abbott, Dan Patrick, and Dade Phelan are responsible for speaking out against and blocking multiple transgender minor bills in the Texas House and the Senate. It is more than obvious that these elected officials do not represent the interests of their constituents, but more so the interest of the Chemical Castration Lobby.

The question here is whether they even know that this is going on. Not everyone who receives political donations from PACs can necessarily know what’s going on with them and what they’re linked to.

UTSouthwest is the biggest medical academic center in DFW. Pretty sure their PAC gives money to both sides.

There is no doubt in my mind that this is a liberal hit piece. DeSantis has been under constant attack for months now. My local congressman (Vern Buchanan) also under constant attack. Gaetz also under constant attack. The (liberal) newspapers are running at full throttle with ugly editorial cartoons and one article loaded with lies after another. It’s non-stop and probably will be for the next four years.
Democrats are scared to death that their end of days is upon them.

Money corrupts so many people. So many are so easily bought. Those with Honor and Integrity are too few and far between. The Founders warned us the Republic they have given us is for the Moral. It is totally incompatible with immoral peoples.
We are discovering EXACTLY how true their proclamation is. As the USA devolves into more IMMORALITY our American Society is becoming more and more unmanageable.
Trump was an anchor in this storm. But, the Powers that be in DC and across the statehouses in the country colluded and conspired to Eliminate him at ALL COSTS. Their own personal interests were far more important to them than the welfare of the Average American than Trump’s Policies that benefitted the Common American.
In fact, the policies Trump implemented that benefitted the Common American hurt the Political Class and the Uber Wealthy who for years have been benefitting from Global Policies that Crushed the Common American but enriched them and their cronies. So, they conspired to Eliminate him and Kill his Pro-America Agenda.
Yes, and look how the hit piece characterizes it as a "clinic". It's a large medical center. It looks to me like these folks goal is to take out Republicans and elect Democrats. They have failed in Texas, so they need to turn conservatives against themselves. Sadly, some conservatives will take the bait, hook, line and sinker.
BTW, when I search the web for "friends of UT Southwestern Center", the only thing I find is links to fringe blogs making the same claim as this post. They appear to be a very small 529b "PAC", but I find nothing about them. I see no evidence that this PAC supports, funds or lobbies for the treatments claimed in this blog post. Hopefully, Texans will investigate these claims carefully before destroying their own and electing Democrats.

Stop this intentional obfuscation!
I’d take the $250k and immediately get a law passed to put the company out of business. Then I would send that company a thank you card for paying for their own demise.
The critical element is whether the rats will accept losing.
The “company” is UTSW, the largest health center in Dallas, TX, and the greater southwest. This is a hit piece for people who scan the headline and don’t read the article.
And if UTSW has chemically castrated even one child ever in its history, I would take their $250K and then pass a law that destroys that organization.
Can you tell me that UTSW have never done so?
