Something was wrong in Lindy Thackston's body. The anchor of Fox 59 Morning News in Indianapolis was dealing with stomach cramps, bloody stools and lower back pain, and her doctors wanted her to get a colonoscopy. But after she scheduled the screening, the COVID-19 pandemic hit.
Thackston, 40, had been feeling increasingly fatigued in February 2020, and her husband, Chris, pointed out that something may be up, she told Today.

And how many thousands, if not more, of others go unspoken for due to these tyrannical fascist Leftist lockdowns...
Covid didn’t stop medical tests in Nashville
Fake-Views Falsey untreated disease progression related???
Yes, fake news for sure.
All tests available without interruption in NE Florida throughout the pandemic. May be she is looking at a lawsuit.
Florida was different thanks to your Governor
What does NE Florida have to do with Indianapolis?
I know a lot of people who work in hospitals. Here in the Philly area, they were saying the hospitals were EMPTY. Very few tests, very few operations, etc, etc.
Yet a Cologard test could have been sent directly to her home and she could have taken the test, by pooping in a provided stool sample kit, and send it via FedEx... It is a test that is available and would be perfect for the Covid crazy world.
All the cologard test does is determine if there is blood in the stools and if so, then a colonoscopy is needed to look for polyps, tumors etc. She likely already had that test since she already knew there was blood in the stool.
They weren’t available in NYS.
And even after they started to, patients due for regular screenings were asked to go to the back of the line so folks with greater need to get in sooner.
There’s still a heck of a backlog.
And a lot of folks are still too scared to come in.
Deep State will have still more blood on its hands.
Michigan Half-Wit canceled my surgery.
Pre- cancer.
Took 3 months.
While there were many reductions in services, medical, the state of Florida was never completely shut down, hence potentially live saving procedures like colonoscopies still continued, at a reduced rate.
OTOH, totally shutting down with no available colonoscopies, is a potential death sentence. NE Florida did not shut down, because of our Governor. Indianapolis did shut down, as did their entire state. That is the connection with the story.
I had a colonoscopy and a surgery as covid was closing everything everywhere, except here. I am blessed to be alive.
My wife had a colonoscopy during Covid.
my surgery was cancelled for 6 months.

-———the presence of any amount of frank hemorrhage in any volume of stool would render the cologard screening test irrelevant. No need to test for trace hemorrhage when you can see that it looks like a crime scene. Colonoscopy is only next step.
I have a friend who lives in Indiana and her tests at an Indianapolis hospital were not cancelled...she did have to have a neg test a couple of days prior before going there...
I had one in August last year but that was in Chattanooga TN
I live in Indiana, colonoscopies were not totally canceled. That said, the waiting lists became very long to get anything done.
There were many procedures totally canceled until further notice. I had several appointments canceled. I go to a lung doctor and just saw him in early May for the first time since Nov of 2019.
I had one last summer as well. It was in the hospital even
