Testing positive for COVID-19 antibodies is not sufficient replacement for receiving the vaccine, according to a briefing released by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on Wednesday.

The FDA is now saying proving immunity from an actual infection of Covid doesn't count. The approved immunity test can't be used to avoid vaccination. Also, they say that test can't show antibodies in the vaccinated because vaccine spike proteins are different.

Everything we've learned about the immune system over the last 1,000 years is now apparently wrong.

I pointed out she had antibodies and she said, “They have no idea how long those will last.”

Just spoke today to a friend who is knowledgeable in microbiology and she said a new test is available with broader testing paradigms than anti-bodies and includes the T-cell immunity.

She didn’t know about the commercial availability but I’m hoping there will be one and the cost is fair.

I’d get that test and anticipate good news. On receipt, that’s the card I’d carry if I had to deal with the State and/or a Karen.

I can't imagine what you are doing to your immune system to have beautiful natural antibodies and the T cells then use a foreign agent to signal your body to make more antibodies. Would not the natural body defense just check out? This can not be healthy.

The nonsense just gets worse every day. As for me, I don’t really care whether I have antibodies or not. I intend to trust my own immune system to get me through the 99+% chance of surviving the eeevil Covid, even if I chance to get it, which hasn’t happened yet as far as I know.

Try T-detect: www.t-detect.com. It detects immunity in B-lymphocytes, the “memory” of the immune system which “remembers” long after antibodies have faded. You can have the test done by Labcorp which has locations in most cities.

The test determines if you have ever been exposed to SARS-CoV-19 or a vaccine.
