Why are taxpayers funding broadcasts encouraging young children to question their sexual identities? According to a report from the Daily Caller News Foundation, taxpayer-supported PBS partnered with taxpayer-supported WNET and the taxpayer-supported New York City Department of Education to present to a targeted audience of three-to-eight-year-olds a drag queen reading from her own book. Here is the item from the DCNF, which licenses reproduction:
A children’s show on PBS featured drag queen and author “Little Miss Hot Mess” singing, dancing and reading a book about drag queens to an intended audience of three to eight year olds.
“Today I’m going to read from my own book, which is ‘The Hips On the Drag Queen Go Swish Swish Swish,'” explained Little Miss Hot Mess, who is reportedly one of the founding members of Drag Queen Story Hour. (RELATED: Judge Arrested For Child Porn Headed Group Offering Drag Queen Story Hour Club)
“I wrote this book because I wanted everyone to get to experience the magic of drag and to get a little practice shaking their hips or shimmying their shoulders to know how we can feel fabulous inside of our own bodies,” Little Miss Hot Mess said.
The book is intended to be sung along to the tune of the song, “The Wheels On The Bus,” Lil Miss Hot Mess said. It features the drag characters “Frida Bea Me,” “Jaclyn Jill,” “Stinkerbelle,” “Rita Booke,” “Mother Lucy Goosey,” “Cinderfella,” “Pina-Buttah-Gelee,” “Rosie Ringarounda,” and “Ella Menopipi,” and “follows a drag queen who performs her routine in front of an awestruck audience.”

I’ve been hearing this since Gingrich was Speaker of the House. Everytime they bring this up, we inevitably hear about Republicans wanting to kill Big Bird.

“Fem Face” - That is a good phrase. I think that it is pretty accurate as it is mocking caricature of femininity.

Oh, and why the hell are half the Americans in this country forced to support left wing drivel from PBS?
I was disappointed with Tammy Bruce’s response to this on Fox yesterday. Although she took exception to this particular show for kids, she seemed to have no problem with drag queen shows for adults, calling them “fun” or some such thing. It was actually stronger than “fun,” but I forget the specific word or phrase she used. I find the whole drag queen thing to be in garish bad taste, at best, and a demonic parody of God’s creation, at worst.
“Celebrate Perversity (or else)” is actually the message they are sending.
