The Israelis have no need of the US or Russia in this. It is self defense and Putin is directly in line with the Squad, and Dick durbin and a whole swath of the democrat party.
Demanding a ceasefire? the one losing is needing the ceasefire, Hamas— and asking the help of their world leftist pals to get it so they can re-arm and do this again. Hamas rockets are KILLING civilians and also... Palestinians. They do not care about it— and the media is trying unsuccessfully to blame the “attacks” on Israel. No— the rockets are still coming from Hamas.
Hamas started it you idiot; what do you think, a country can’t defend itself from attack? Go after Hamas. Oh, right, Russia is typical of attacking its neighbors so I guess Putin agrees with Hamas.

Then Putin is in favor of eliminating Hamas as an entity? That is the only way civilian casualties will even be reduced at all. If there is a false cease fire, more will die, many more.
Hamas is and has always been the cause of the violence. If the Israelis stand down, and do not defend themselves from terrorism, many many many more civilians will die, only they will be Israeli civilians, Jews, Christians, and Muslims.
So, what do they want? They (enemies of Israel and supporters of genocide) want their insanity to be overlooked, and for the the people of Israel to die. Rabid insanity is all we hear in response.

The article doesn’t say “won’t tolerate” and it doesn’t say it’s a “direct threat”.
“In a frank exchange of opinion on the situation in the Israeli-Palestinian relations, including the one in the Gaza Strip, the Russian side expressed extreme concern over the escalation of tensions and stressed the impermissibility of steps fraught with more civilian casualties,” Bogdanov told Alexander Ben Zvi, Israel’s ambassador in Moscow, on Wednesday, according to state news agency TASS.
Russia’s “very closely monitoring the developments” in the area, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Wednesday. Peskov urged both parties to be “utterly cautious in their statements” so as to not “add fuel to the fire.”
Peskov also said Russia is willing to play host to conversations and was making “initiatives within its powers” to serve as a venue for direct contacts.
