New York Attorney General Letitia James’ investigation of the Trump Organization is criminal in nature, her office revealed Tuesday.
James’ office had been conducting a civil investigation of former President Donald Trump’s company.
“We have informed the Trump Organization that our investigation into the organization is no longer purely civil in nature,” a spokesperson for the attorney general said in a statement.

You can probe anybody, criminal or not. It doesn’t mean they did anything illegal. That is what a courtroom is for.
In other words, the inmates are investigating the Warden.
Well you knew they were going to try for a criminal case. Good luck on proving it.

Since all of this “investigation” is only occurring because of DJT’s very successful political engagement, I hope he can use campaign donations to pay for the legal expenses. And, I’ll send him more money and let him know that. If it’s not strictly legal, I know he won’t do it though. We finally have a leader who did not wade into the swamp with dirty hands or in order to further dirty ambitions.

Combine an organization as big as Trump’s with the crazy quilt of federal and state laws, and what do you get? You get a good chance of “finding” a “crime”.
As the old saying goes, you can get a grand jury to indict a ham sandwich. And if that grand jury is empaneled in NYC, that old saying will be even more appropriate.

She ran for office on this platform. “During the campaign, James, a Democrat, said she intends to aggressively investigate Trump’s businesses and finances.” That’s from the washingtoncompost. Does that sound like justice? I guess now that we are a communist country without free elections, it does. In the past, you were supposed to investigate crimes, not investigate innocent people while looking for crimes. It disgusts me. A witch hunt. I hope this country can be saved, but I have my doubts. My only hope is this and other actions are just a distraction from the election audits and their findings.
Letitia is worse than a windbag. She’s a lunatic Leftist on a mission to destroy.

DJT will be indicted and arrested in an early morning raid by the FBI, the day after he announces he’s running again.
She did not “reveal”. She had a press conference. Between these government criminals in NY, city and state, and those in DC holding people in solitary for over 100 days BEFORE trial, there are many who need to be hanging on poles. This is NOT the way our republic is supposed to treat those innocent until PROVEN guilty.
As so noted by a poster above, this skewing of Trump and family will continue till he is either dead or broke defending these government back witch hunts. I just wish there were some recourse he could take beyond the lawfare.
