To me, it means one of two things if he says that his work is now hampered:
1) He is a TOTAL IDIOT for leaving critical stuff in his office.
2) He’s another Lin Wood.

You can bet they planted something in his office. Either a bug, or child porn, or fake evidence of wrongdoing of some kind. These demons will fight.
Why stage an event and announce it days before? It just provides opportunities for the swamp people to do this sort of thing.

Totally agree. Announcing that you’re going to announce something is annoying and unnecessary if you really have something to announce.

Sounds like he’s trying to drum up some press coverage by announcing the announcement.
They can’t really “make” you do it...yet. But they give you the kind of choice you get from a highway robber.
Compare the media's response to this vs. their response to the break in at the Watergate.
