The Antrim County attorney shouldn’t be using the VFW hall for an official announcement in the first place. Going to an outside group makes it look political, and that impression is reinforced by going to an outside group that generally leans a certain way in the first place. Have the press conference in the county offices. It’s official business. Act like it.

VFW = Veterans of Foreign Wars. US war veterans wimp out to a phoned in threat. Makes one wonder in just which wars those guys fought ... perhaps some computer game? Too much beer? Definitely not the vets most imagine.
