Went to Waffle House yesterday for breakfast. Prices up across the board. What I’ve always paid $2.60 for is now $4.00. Prices went up just last week.

Inflation is just getting started...showed up in housing and a couple commodities first but is starting to show up everywhere.

Inflation has gone up a heck of a lot higher than 4.2% since January.
Then there is the gap in supply.

We are fast becoming Venezuela.

They have to.

Sometimes you can’t tell people; you have to show them.

It won’t get ugly until people lose everything. The idiots won’t wake up unless it’s hits their wallets…completely.

Seriously? Prices jumped 50% in one week?

Something is very wrong. THis looks like a armed robbery by the Waffle House and should not be rewarded.

I would have found the manager and told him I was a regular customer but after seeing this larceny I will no longer be eating here nor will my family or hopefully my friends after I tell them what you have done.

I guess we’re all going to have to get an extra job coding.

As a side note, when I went to college back in the 1980s I worked with computer punch cards. I wonder if they are still being used. If so, I’m good to go!

Look at what’s happening in the world and here at home since Biden and his commie cohorts took over. Taiwan, Israel, Iran, inflation, a depression on the horizon, national debt, unemployment, gas lines, shortages, etc. Thanks to the assholes that voted for scum bag Biden and those politicians that allow voter fraud.

Gas lines, inflation, weakness abroad, Iran back to kicking our asses... back to the (1979) future.

A waffle house probably cannot compete with permanent covid welfare on a dollars per hour basis. So they have to pay a LOT more to a waitress to get her off the couch.

When they do wake up there will be a throwdown battle for the life of the nation. The Democrats will be determined not to let a perfectly good crisis go to waste while Republicans will dither and play by the rules.

In this context of crisis we conservatives should think in terms of the constitutional imperative of a convention of the states. That is an arena in which we have a chance of winning because it acts almost entirely apart from Washington and the very high bar of gaining so many state legislatures' acceptance could be overcome by a sense of emergency.

The Democrats will be conducting their own constitutional convention as they did in 1933 under Roosevelt, in 1965 as they did under Lyndon Johnson and as they are doing today under Biden. Our choice is limited to the selection of the arena in which to wage battle. We consistently lose in the Washington controlled arena, let's try a convention of states.
