The mRNA technology used to develop the Pfizer-BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine could also help create "more potent" seasonal flu shots, Kathrin Jansen, head of Pfizer's vaccine research and development, told CNBC.

I guess they aren’t killing enough with this Covid vaccine mistake.
I have only gotten a flu shot maybe 2-3 times in the past 20 years. I got H1N1 in 2009 and promptly got sick and spent a week in the hospital. I do keep all of my normal, traditional shots current. Our kids have all of their shots as well. I am not an anti-vaxxer. But I do say no to the experimental Covid vaccines and since I am not getting flu shots, probably will continue to skip them as well.
Lol, let’s not wait and see if this stuff produces two-headed babies or anything, let’s just roll full speed ahead!!!
mRNA is a medical breakthrough, like atomics was a physics breakthrough.
It can be used for great good, or for evil. (Though it’s requirements, as of now, make it’s abuse limited.)

Not enough are getting the biowarfare agent so maybe they’ll just start putting it in annual flu shots.
It is only good if there is transparency about risks (big risks like fertility concerns not just sore arm) and exceptions made for people for whom it may NOT be good for.
I’ve read other studies that show Flu Shot can be beneficial in preventing severe Covid! Immunity mechanism helps even though virus is different.
In the 2019/2020 flu season there 4 people that caught the flu in my office. They all had the flu shots at least a month before getting the flu. No one that skipped the flu shot caught the flu even though we sat right next to the people that got sick.
True.
Over the last year and a half of use there’s been no sign that it interferes with procreation- people have made and borne normal children.
I’m more concerned about mRNA’s future use in warfare if it can be protected so it can be used in sprays, etc.
Doesn’t look likely at this time, but time passes.
It may not be impacting pregnancy but some (not all but in the thousands and thousands) of women have had irregular periods and it’s uncertain for how long.
Considering other vaccines actually prevent you from getting tetanus, diptheria, pertussis, measles, etc and this one doesn’t...how is that “more potent”?
It does seem to take a heavier toll on the body overall especially younger people — and women on average more than men.
Moderna’s shot is 100mg of vial. They were going to experiment with 50mg but may be reserving smaller dosage for children they wanted to err on side of “efficacy” over moderation. One wonders if the side effects are from it being more potent or having more ingredients than necessary
Pfizer doses are 30mg but can still pack a punch.
Fixed it.
