The other point is who the hell cares who Trump supports? I voted for him twice but only because he was the best choice each time. I don't do political idolatry. Trump is merely a politician who is out for himself. There is no other explanation for supporting someone who votes with the Democrats a quarter of the time. She sounds like one of those "reach across the aisle" types. No Thanks! A real conservative would not support Stefanick. Of course a real conservative would never in a million years support Cheney either. Ditto for any other RINO or GOPe member.
McCarthy simply knows that it’s Trump who possesses the real power over the party. He knows that if he doesn’t stand against Cheney, Trump will come after him. I don’t trust any of the GOP leadership at this moment in time.
If you're talking about replacing Cheney then I agree. If you're talking about Stefanik as a replacement then I disagree. There are far more conservative women who would be a better choice.
It for a third seat leadership role. I can’t think of one person before Cheney and this controversy who had the chair. This is so over the top ridiculous to fight over a very inconsequential seat. Glad to get rid of Cheney. The family destroyed the country enough. But this seat is not for house speaker for goodness sake.
Stefanik is a lib. Her voting record is more Rino than Collins and Cheney.

The House GOP has a massive opportunity to upgrade this week from warmonger Liz Cheney to gifted communicator Elise Stefanik. Elise has intelligence, an endorsement from American Patriot Brandon Judd and the National Border Patrol Council, she has an A+ from the NRA, and she loves our Veterans.
We need someone in Leadership who has experience flipping districts from Blue to Red as we approach the important 2022 midterms, and that’s Elise! She knows how to win, which is what we need!
