“We are very concerned that the auditors are engaged in ongoing and imminent violations of federal voting and election laws,” said the letter sent by the Brennan Center for Justice.

The developments come as the counting of 2.1 million ballots from the November election won by President Joe Biden are off to a slow pace. Bennett told the Associated Press Tuesday night that teams doing a hand recount of the presidential race lost by former President Donald Trump has tallied less than 10% of the ballots since starting on April 23.

“U.S. Justice Department worried about Arizona Senate recount”
When did this become a ‘recount’? I thought it was an audit, you know an exercise to see if the proper (quality) controls are in place. A recount implies possibly flipping an election...no one is talking that, as far as I can tell at least.

what a bunch of BS....many states can not produce any ballots so so much for their "22"months crap....
so they're concerned about the very PUBLIC with LIVE WEB CAMS recount done in front of EVERYBODY yet they didn't say a word when legal poll watchers were shut out of watching the counts of ballots....
they weren't concerned when nazi's with guns were threatening people in Philly...
they weren't concerned that there is a signed confession from an Italian vote rigger to what he did to change the votes...

The state has “plenary” power where fed elections are concerned & the AZ Sstate Senate called for the audit - DOJ has no standing, from what I’m hearing. Feckless vile Joebama has weaponized the DOJ ... he needs all the political capital he can get & if the audit shows massive fraud, his illegitimacy is front and center. Everyone on the left (WH, DOJ, lap dog media) is freaking out.
Will the DOJ go to court and try to get a TRO? The guys doing the audit in AZ expect they will try.
Steve Bannon’s War Room is a great place to keep up with what is going on in AZ - lots of interviews just every day with key players. DOJ (& Dem Secty of State letter) are being discussed.
Reference:
In United States constitutional law, plenary power is a power that has been granted to a body or person in absolute terms, with no review of or limitations upon the exercise of that power. The assignment of a plenary power to one body divests all other bodies from the right to exercise that power, where not otherwise entitled. Plenary powers are not subject to judicial review in a particular instance or in general.

They had canvassing evidence there were illegal votes counted which is why the legislature voted for the audit.

I haven’t read one article in the news media that has stated the reason for holding ballots for 22 months. It would make sense to have the ballots for that period of time for recounts and audits. Otherwise, you might as well immediately throw them away after they have been once counted.
