Only use that if you actually *have* asthma. You do *not* want to be caught in what could be interpreted as a provable lie. You probably *won’t* feel well after the shooting incident, if from nothing else than the aftereffects of the adrenal dump, so ‘feeling ill’ or ‘not feeling well’ won’t be a lie and will be reasonable. If you have cardiovascular conditions, then sure, use them as a further excuse to demand medical attention. You will also want to have medics check you out under those pretenses to head off any accusations of drug use, drunkenness, etc., etc., that a hostile DA might use against you.

Situational update - the Mexicans *have* been trying to turn them back at their southern border and deporting them when found in their interior. Even though Biden is welcoming illegals, it would actually be worse if the Mexicans weren’t doing what they can. FYI, the Mexican government no longer has the ability to do more than they already are - you have to realize the cartels mostly won.

Yes, that’s what I said. I have seen nothing that would make me think otherwise.

Yeah, that doesn’t work for me unless I go to Facebook first - I have Facebook data collection containment software running and FB gets really annoyed about that and will refuse to transmit data sometimes unless there’s already an open connection to FB running. Nothing to do with https.

Probably.

I have never posted that kind of stuff.

My father-in-law was in the weapons industry for 40 years. He had a Q clearance for a long time. When he was coming up for renewal of that I was warned that there might be some visitors asking questions of my neighbors. As far back as the early 1970’s. We had neighbors question us about that.

I never feared them, until Obozo. From that point I despise what has been done.

Wife and I just moved to Oklahoma. Might be the reddest state in the union. Stand Your Ground, Castle doctrine, Constitutional carry, immunity if car strikes a protester blocking highway and The Heartbeat Law (no non-emergency abortions after detectable heartbeat). Virtually no masks. Restaurants and taverns full capacity. Weather can be rough, but it’s worth it.

In obama’s 8 years he made a data base on (they say) everyone. He was up to no good then and is up to no good now.

Virtually no masks.

At the Greenfield Walmart© - it's about 50/50.

At the Fishers Kroger© - it's about 99/1.

25 miles MUCH different demographics.

No, they can’t. But from talking to my Honduran friend (who is, uh, staying in Honduras and not trying to illegally emigrate), Mexico’s southern border is porous, but they are apprehending and returning dozens to hundreds of Hondurans per day, and when found in the interior, they get deported - and that’s all the way back to Honduras, not just getting kicked across the border. Mexico has decided they don’t want to put up with the rest of Latin America coming to their country and camping out either - but this is only in parts of the country still controlled by the government. The parts run by the cartels? No, that’s where the illegals are getting through - after being robbed, raped, or after buying safe passage from the cartel, if they have the money.

And they damn well need it considering the psycho in the WH and his open borders insanity.

The issue is denial of firearms for violent felons.

Many felony crimes are not that nature, but the law says they should be punished by denying voting and owning firearms.

But it's irrelevant what the felony was. If they have completed the full terms of their repayment to society, then why are this still considered to be less of a citizen? If they have been fully released (not on parole, actually released), then they should be a full citizen. If they can't be trusted with their return of their rights, then why can they be trusted to be released from jail?

I never said the application of that the law was fair.

I know a person who at 19 was convicted of a felony for check forgery. He was caught in the middle of a divorce. The husband had asked him to cash checks for him and to sign his name.

The divorce was bitter and the truth never made court, although the husband told others he asked him to do it.

He is still a felon. Almost 15 years have passed, but the State of Texas statute for removal of a felony is 20 years.

Just? It depends.
