1. We have effective vaccines
2. People can or cannot choose to get it
3. Therefore the is no further need for mandate as anyone can make a choice
4. New York announces full reopening on July 1
5. California will reopen in full next month or so

Mask Mandates will likely be in place in airports and public transit until next Spring at the earliest. They will see the upcoming flu season and then extend the mask mandate.

Also expect them to really hype up the Flu shots and any boosters for Covid this fall.

We “flattened the curve” over two weeks in the spring of 2020. I guess planes, buses, and trains never travel in a curved path.

This is horrible. I had to fly last week and I think even the flight attendants hate this and certainly didn’t like enforcing it.

The creepiest thing is that when your go through an airport or even on the plane, there are constant announcements telling you that you must wear a mask, even if you’ve been vaccinated (they just added that one) and that the penalties are fines - and imprisonment.

I have to fly later this week (first time in years). I’m going to use a mask made of very loose fitting nylon stocking. No more effective than anything else anyone else is wearing, but I’ll be able to breathe.
