He can come back stronger. It’s not the end of him, if he doesn’t want it to end.
Hulk Hogan had his leg broken by his trainer and he came back and had a viable career.

I doubt he ever competes again.
Alex Smith, the quarterback, had 17 surgeries have a similar injury. He eventually came back but one isn't as vulnerable in football as in the UFC coming off an injury like that.

Why would I want to watch this. Sports coverage has always been a little too ghoulish for its never ending focus on serious injuries.

Bad place for a break. Tibia fx frequently go to nonunion because of poor blood supply, especially distally.
He is young so there is less chance of a non union but the position of the break & the force of the trauma increase his chances of nonunion. I wish him good doctors & rapid healing.

Saw it live. Don’t need to see that again.
The fight before that one had the fight stopped because one guys leg went numb from a kick behind the knee.
Glad to see Rose beat the Chinese chick!

OK, I give up. You win the thread!
WHAT IN THE WORLD IS THE MECHANISM FOR THAT INJURY? HE KICKED THE OTHER GUY BELOW THE KNEE ON THE SIDE.

There is a very valuable lesson.
to learn
When one gets into a fight there is a good chance of getting hurt.
Even under control circumstances.
