I also read that he did not allow them to have the transcripts (if they had a question about what they thought they had heard in the courtroom) and they had to rely on their notes.
But that really didn’t matter, because I think these jurors had their minds made up even before they were sworn in, and the one or two who didn’t were just plain terrified of retribution unless they decided the “right” way.

That is what scares me. I’m a 70 something year old grandma so wouldn’t be of much use during a fight.....but, at least I’d try!! Where is the outrage?? Where is the fight?? I’m in TEXAS for Gods sake! And nothing. But talk. 😢

what plea deal was Derek offered?
IIRC there was no offer. In fact, Chauvin offered to plea to murder 3, but Bill Barr shot it down. And if word got out that the defendant TRIED to plead, he was sunk right there.

Yup, mistrial. They get another crack at Chauvin.
He is already ruined unless he is exceptionally resilient.
They will have to go find another correct jury again.

It is a mistrial at this point. The question is whether a mistrial was intended by the politicians to continue the nonsense.

In fact, not sure Chauvin will ever be able to get a fair trial. The Left will make sure he doesn't. Mad Max coming to town was not a coincidence.

That by dafault, is a reason to over turn the verdict.
We really have a weak society but that is what mass immigration has wrought.

Tucker said it best. “The jury in the Derek Chauvin trial came to a unanimous and unequivocal verdict Tuesday afternoon: “Please don’t hurt us.”
To: sphinx
That’s a mistrial right there, if there is an honest judge left in America. There ain't.

“I just had a fascinating sit-down interview with one of the alternate jurors in the Derek Chauvin trial,” Kare 11 reporter Lou Raguse said Thursday on Twitter.
“Lisa Christensen was the juror who lived in Brooklyn Center. One night she could hardly make it home after testimony ended because of protesters blocking intersections.”

Commie democrats from hell must be very proud...
I agreed with the verdict it’s merits... but this kind of intimidation is the Jim Crow crap... democrats WERE the Jim Crow South and they’re up to their old ugly tricks. Shame on this juror for giving in...
It’s what the thugs want... they want to know intimidation works. It’s the main trick in their bad - bully citizens.
Same in every commie hellhole.

Will the appeal be as fair as the trial? If so why bother?
