I believe that came from one of the alternate jurors who was dismissed prior to the start of deliberations. However, if there was an utterance by one of the other jurors, the defense has a very strong case for reversal.

I think one of the telling comments came from the judge himself, telling the defense Mad Max’s statements were so egregious that her comments alone may be grounds for reversal. This just adds icing to that cake.

That statement is almost grounds for a civil rights violation. He is entitled to a fair jury trial, bill of rights says so. Of course not going to happen.

Remember this, the murder charge was reinstated by the same appeals court. Can you say he was on the main line on the rail road?

We all knew it. If the cop has a chance then they need a quiet appeal. If the media jumps on the appeal trial and covers it like the first one then he is done.

Chauvin decides whether there will be an appeal or not. You can take it to the bank that there will be an appeal after the sentencing hearing.

I’ve read the judge gave no instructions to the jury.

This had only a veneer of a trial by jury. Judge Roy Bean lives.

I wonder given if the comment was true can mad max be charged with jury tampering or intimidation. I’d love to see that scumbag in jail.

We need a 100% guarantee of anonymity for jurors in a case like this.

Put each juror in a separate booth viewing the court Proceedings through a one-way glass. Then jurors deliberate electronically so they don’t even see each other. Jurors don’t even know whether they are regular or alternates. They all vote but only the votes of the regular jurors count.

One way or the other we must deny the mob the ability to target our jurors.

Mad Maxine should be locked up.

The attempt to censure or oust Waters from Congress is once again ass-backwards attempt at law enforcement! Maxine committed a crime in Minnesota when she showed up to tamper with the Chauvin jury by threatening violence and riots if a guilty verdict was not reached. That is where she should be charged with crime. If those in charge of law enforcement in Minnesota are OK with Waters' lawlessness then it is on the people of Minnesota to oust those who are in charge so that the rule of law can prevail. If the people of Minnesota are ok with Waters then the 'rule of law' is toast.

Waters IMHO also committed a number of federal crimes that the US DOJ should be investigating. It doesn't matter what Pelosi or McCarthy or the democrats in DC think or do, it is up to the law enforcement community to indict Waters. With the fraudulent administration in charge, I won't hold my breath until that happens.

Our Supreme Court has been compromised as much as the juror has been and is just as terrified. I am not sure that justice is possible in this climate of fear. The rule of law has ben subrogated by intimidation.

In related news, the juror’s wife filed for divorce, along with the suggestion that they both start seeing other men.

Judge broke with precedent and gave the jury instructions before the closing arguments. A little unorthodox, but the instructions were given.

Mad Maxine should be locked up.

No, she should receive the "justice" she wished upon Derek Chauvin: she should be taken out and shot. No trial, nothing short of a "murder in the first degree" decree followed by an immediate and summary execution.

Wonder if the white jurors felt intimidated by the black jurors? How difficult would it have been to be white and debate/vote not guilty? Automatic charge of RACISM.

"This is grounds for a mistrial..."

Concur. Of course, when a mistrial is called, that will give the Marxists even more grounds to riot.....
