A Vir­ginia cop has been fired for anony­mous­ly donat­ing $25 to Kenosha shoot­er Kyle Rit­ten­house­’s legal fund with a note say­ing ‘you’ve done noth­ing wrong’.

Nor­folk Police Lt. William K. Kel­ly lost his job after a hack revealed the names of those who gave mon­ey to help with the 18-year-old’s costs.

Rit­ten­house is accused of killing two pro­test­ers and wound­ing a third dur­ing a demon­stra­tion against police bru­tal­i­ty in Wis­con­sin last August 25.

I knew this would happen when Brendan Eich, the inventor of the web programming language, JavaScript and founder and CEO of the Internet company, Mozilla Corp. had to resign when it was discovered by internet sleuths that he contributed a few thousand dollars to support the one man, one woman initiative during the gay marriage referendum in California ( which affirmed traditional marriage ). That was many years ago. But since there was no widespread backlash at this intolerance, I realized then that it was just a matter of time before such firings and forced resignations would become widespread.
